Kellen Winslow hurt again
over at espn.com it says that kw2 got hurt when he was riding his motorcycle and he hit a curb doing 35. it said his injuries aren't life threatening. well that was obvious, but what if he misses the season again. the browns wasted a draft pick on him.

Holy shit.
What a soldier. |
Re: Kellen Winslow hurt again
LOL really smart move

Re: Kellen Winslow hurt again
Again, I hate to wish injury on anyone, but come on how can ANYONE that is a Redskins fan not think this is the most hilarious thing ever?
I wonder if they repaired the two feet that got jammed in his mouth? |
Re: Kellen Winslow hurt again
Sean Taylor is not such an idiot huh?
|
Re: Kellen Winslow hurt again
In the words of Nelson Muntz, HAHA!
Yeah I'll take Sean Taylor any day of the week. Just goes to show the importance of factoring in character when choosing a player. Taylor might not be ideal in that department, but if he shows up for camp and plays well this year, there won't be any love lost in my eyes. Good choice, Joe Gibbs. |
Re: Kellen Winslow hurt again
Dumb and Dumber? Looks like we got Dumb... ;)
PS Williams is still in Taylor's corner. See his comments in the recent interview: "I'm a Taylor fan, etc..." |
Re: Kellen Winslow hurt again
all i think that an accident can happen to anyone. i don't know winslow's attitude and this injury to me doesn't make him any less resilient, it is just bad luck. I just wish Taylor wouldn't be suck an ass about the money. i don't know if taylor will hold out but if he does he is an ass and his character may never change but winslow's injuries will heal(hopefully).
But yeah it is allittle amusing but it must be a pain in the ass for them BROWNS |
Re: Kellen Winslow hurt again
My favorite Quote of the story: "He was wearing a helmet, but it wasn't strapped on and flew off his head, Arcuri said."
Sounds like he doesn't have much for a helmet to protect anyway. |
Re: Kellen Winslow hurt again
Lets not forget that nearly 60% of people his age with motorcycles wreck it at least once. So this isn't exactly a rare occurrance.
Listen, like it or not, KWII could be the best tight end the league has ever seen. Now, I'd still take Taylor because he could be the best safety. I don't understand all the harsh words towards KWII who some people here wanted to draft. He said some shit about us after Gibbs promised to draft him, then didn't. Gee, you mean he was upset he didn't get to be a Redskin? Lets hate him more! |
Re: Kellen Winslow hurt again
he'll never make it on the field if he does stuff like that.

Re: Kellen Winslow hurt again
Winslow is a Muppet and will never be any better than average. If his name wasn't Winslow and he hadn't been at Miami he would have been a second day draft pick and not a word would have been written about him on this site.
|
Re: Kellen Winslow hurt again
Yeah, I'm sure the huge numbers he put up didn't have anything to do with him getting drafted where he was!

Tell that to Jared Payton, undrafted last year. What about Michael Munoz, undrafted this year. The NFL doesn't draft favorites based on names. |

Winslow - 13 games, 60 catches, 605 yards, 10.1 yard average, 1 TD Cooley - 10 games, 62 catches, 732 yards, 11.8 yard average, 6 TDs Just numbers of course. |
