Jansen on ESPN
Did anybody elase hear Jansen slam Sean Taylor for not being at camp. This statment came at about the time the Redskins were ready to make their pick at 9. He also stated that they were running a 1982 offense that didn't work but they had adjusted it through out the season. But he called Taylor out for not being there, right on National TV. Way to go Big John!!!!

I beleive he said it was a 1992 offense nonetheless. Yes he did say we adjusted it through the season, and as of right now our offense is on pace for 1985, do the math. :frusty: |
Re: Jansen on ESPN
Could have been 92, not positive but the point is he slammed the orgainization and in particular Sean Taylor on National TV. Suprised me did it suprise you?
|
Re: Jansen on ESPN
Yeah he called him out again when they were talking about steroids. They were saying that Castillo was setting a bad example and Jansen said it wasn;t any worse then young players coming into the league and getting DUI's. That was definatly a shot at him, kind of pissed me off. No matter how wrong Taylor is for not being at camp you don't need our big time players taking shots at each other.

Somthing tells me Jansen dosent like Taylor very much, or maybe just his actions. That is the third time I've heard him "call him out" about not being at workouts. He didnt really call him out, but you got the message. Hey I'm behind Jansen 100%; I'm glad someone is taking a leadership role and telling him to get his ass there. |
Re: Jansen on ESPN
hey , the truth hurts sometimes.
|
Re: Jansen on ESPN
He's lighting a fire under his ass. Taylor will find out about these comments and hopefully want to come to DC to rip on Jansen about it. While he is there they will force him to work out with the team.
But all in all Jansens shots are the truth. |
Re: Jansen on ESPN
Who wants to tell this to Sean Taylors Face???????

I don't think he slammed the organazation so much, I think he was kind of explaining what they went through and that the coach is still upgrading the offensive game plan as he becomes more acclimated back into the NFL. In other words he was saying we are getting better which I felt he was kind of sticking up for the coach. |

Jansen pretty much did. |
Re: Jansen on ESPN
Jansen did say 1992, but was implying that the team is upgrading it's plan and getting better. I don't the Jansen would have any problem saying it to Taylor's face. He should be in camp and as a new Skin, Moss should definitely be there. He's so happy to be a Skin but doesn't show up for camp? What's up with that?

Re: Jansen on ESPN
Jansen is exactly what we need. Someone who's not fighting to be politically correct all the time. I feel any shot at Taylors DUI, however, is off limits. First of all, he was acquitted, and second of all that's a personal shot. If you want to get someone going, talk about camp, the horrible offense they ran, etc. Go for it. However, when you start going after someone's personal stuff, that's where I draw the line.
