Redskins’ Mike Shanahan, Daniel Snyder speak; Robert Griffin III might be benched
 

Washington Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan spoke Monday with team owner Daniel Snyder, but there was no apparent resolution to Shanahan’s status with the franchise on anything more than a temporary basis. Shanahan added to the intrigue later in the day by announcing he was considering sitting down quarterback Robert Griffin III for the remainder of the season.
