A Question for all diehard Redskin fans
For the home uniform, do you prefer the white or the burgundy jersey? Under Joe Gibbs 1 and 2, the team always played in the white jersey. Even during the entire Norv Turner era, the Redskins played at home in the white jersey. Not until Marty came did the Redskins begin to play in the burgundy jersey. Since 2001, the Redskins under coaches Schottenheimer, Spurrier, Zorn, and Shanahan have played in the burgundy jersey with Spurrier and Zorn going back and forth between both jerseys.
The only time Shanahan has used the white jersey at home was in 2010 and in 2012 but it was during the preseason. Thoughts? |

You go with the Gibbs color winning combo.

Agree totally... although, I like the white pants as well. But have to go with the burgundy jersey (and with gold stripes instead of yellow) |
Re: A Question for all diehard Redskin fans
Burgundy jersey , gold pants. That's the way it should always be, it just seems natural.

Re: A Question for all diehard Redskin fans
All of the jerseys have a regular feel to them at home games. But the Redskins have been more successful wearing the white jerseys than wearing the burgundy ones at home.

What the hell is with you spear helmet people? Just stop it, stop it now.

+1 Who cares about superstitious mumbo jumbo. The burgundy over gold is HOT. White jerseys are boring. |
Re: A Question for all diehard Redskin fans
Burgundy jerseys and gold pants ftw.

I'm no fan of the Redskins, but have always believed this uniform combo was the best looking in all of football. Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk 2 |

Re: A Question for all diehard Redskin fans
The only reason why I don't like the yellow(gold) helmet with the 'R' is because I think it was Lombardi who made the switch and wanted to make the 'skins look like the Green Bay Packers. So for me, I prefer either our standard Indian Head burgundy helmets or the spear helmets. As for the uni, I've been won over by the gold pants, although I wouldn't mind the 'skins adopting the shade of gold pants that will be worn with our 80th anniversary unis and to mix that with our 70th anniversary jerseys. I think that shade of gold with the white jerseys would look pretty killer!
