Sharper vs Shiancoe
 

Anyone know how this feud thing really started? Is Shiancoe still mad about the Championship game? I'm looking forward to what happens on the field....hopefully Shiancoe gets what's coming to him.

They're friends and former teammates who decided (though I don't think they decided together) to start trash talking each other a few weeks back on Twitter as playful banter and to promote their season opener. It's all fun and games until someone pokes their eye out...or compares the other to Osama

It started because Sharper made the "X marks the spot" reference when talking about going after Favre's surgically repaired ankle. Shiancoe responded and it's escalated from there

I think the Vikings were talking about how the Saints cheated the whole game and provided late hits all game. One Viking player said they couldn't wait to play the Saints again cause they would give the Saints a taste of their own medicine. Then Sharper said bring it on cause X marks the spot on Favre's ankle. Then Shiancoe said Sharper better watch what he's saying cause Sharper had his knee scoped or something like that and X marks the spot on him also. Someone (not sure who, possible media) said all parties better watch out cause if the League decides to look into the threats then some players might be sitting a few games.
