if he can turn the wizards around, he might just be a wizard. but seriously the caps need to stop dicking around and win the series already.

Step 3: Follow Step 2.

Step 4: Turn organization around.

What's the over-under on how long it takes to change the colors back to red, white, and blue? I think it happens just before the 2011 season.

Hopefully. This color scheme looks OK, but it's not what the team should be. However, Red, White and Blue Wizards would remind me of Senator Byrd being sworn in again...they need to return to the Bullets or a less-fruity name.

I never did like the name change from the Bullets to the Wizards. But that was a Pollin idea. I really liked Abe, but the truth is he made some pretty bad decisions for the NBA club. I just hope Leonsis can straighten things out.

Not to bad of an idea. I support this movement.

The name change from the Bullets is perhaps one of the silliest ideas I have ever heard of. The notion that the name "Bullets" in some way actually encouraged violence is seriously dopey. I am actually still astonished to this day that a good smart guy like Abe Pollin actually bought into the idea.

I was to young (6th Grade) to know much of anything about gangs when they changed the name but looking back I think it's funny that they changed the color from that of the Bloods to the Cryps.

What many people don't remember is that there was a contest to re-name the team. And the runner-up (though some say it actually won, but Abe didn't care for the name) was the Washington Seadogs..which would have been just a phenomenal name
