I have a business trip there at the end of the month but will have a good amount of free time as well.

You'll...........like it. A beautiful part of the CA coast. If you are a "wine" guy, you can do some wine tasting in Prime Ca wine country. Or if you are a Silicon guy, you can do some prime...silicon.......things as Silicon valley is relatively close.
Jump on the PCH (Hwy 1, Pacific Coast Highway) and enjoy the sights going north.

Just got back from my trip. Very cool place. Went on a wine tour (Firestone) and eat a lot of Mexican food.
