Division wins this year?
So we all the know the Redskins have a pretty lousy division record over the past few years. We're 0-2 right now with losses to Dallas and NY. Who do you guys think we have a shot at beating this season and what do you predict out ending division record to be.
I know some of you might argue that we have won 2 division games, both being over the Redskins!! |
I think we can split the rest of the way and finish 3-3 in the division

vt skins...same college as im at...nice

All of our games have been tight, thanks to our defense. All our O needs is just a glimmer of a spark to turn this season around. If our offense starts to put together 2 or 3 drives where they score TDs and stops turning the ball over at such bad times, I think we'll start to win some games and we'll be able to hang with just about anybody. Including the Eagles.

I agree with that. I Think we can beat Dallas and NYG, and split with Philly. I'd be pretty pleased with that |

I agree. If our O starts to come together we will dominate most teams and as was mentioned before we would go 3-3 in the division. All because of the D that needs some motivation to finish out an entire game because the O is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad. The one other loss would come from Philly. |
Cpayne. We lost few games last year by more than a TD too. A loss is a loss.
|
A loss is a loss but getting hammered is much different then being in the game and having a chance at the end.
If we were 1-4 and getting trounced I think we would have an even worse view of things right now. |
We're going to take the Giants at home and Dallas in big D. We can step up and split with the Eagles...so I guess 3-3.
|
im guessing 1-5 unless our team somehow catches on fire like the bangels last year.

Look at Carolina: In 2002 they lost a lot of close games and went 7-9 (I think), and last year, they found a way to win most of the close ones and went to the SB. As soon as the Skins find a way to win the close games, they will be on the right track....not to mention the fact that they have been beating themselves more than actually getting beat by the other teams... All of the best teams find a way to "win ugly" when needed....look at the Pats. Gibbs WILL get us there....hopefully sooner rather than later! Oh, and for the division record: 3-3 I think the Eagles peaked too early and will be much more vulnerable later in the year....just when our offense is really getting going. |
I'm glad Baltimore isn't in our division...I cannot stand all this braggin by baltimorons.

You got that right! I work in Columbia MD, and Raven fans out number Skins fans at least 3-1 at my office. It is BS, and I REALLY wanted to win that one because of that.....almost as much as wanting to beat Dallas! But it's over....just need to move forward and beat da Bears!!! |
If we could go 3-3 I would be stoked. :thumb: But I think 2-4 is more realistic. For some reason I don't see us beating Philly. I pray we do. But I wouldn't count on it. I just want to start beating the Cowboys once in a while! And finish the season strong to build some steam for next year.
