im pretty sure that's not gardner's career high in yards but still a good game

Drift Reality 09-28-2004 04:57 PM

I thought Gardiner had like 200 yards one game his rookie year.

Drift Reality 09-28-2004 04:58 PM

I was right. October 21, 2001, he had 6 catches for 208 yards.

SkinsRock 09-28-2004 05:50 PM

The 10 catches is his career high, not the yardage.

Winskins 09-28-2004 06:12 PM

That is correct SkinsRock.
I think out of all of the stats that one really stands out at me. Hopefully this kind of contribution can carry on during a semi-regular basis.

Yeah, we may some day call him 25-75, or if we're lucky, 10-90.

Winskins 09-29-2004 12:04 AM

Yeah, hopefully he'll go from being butter-fingers to margarine-hands :laughing-

:joke: :httr:

Also, now knowing that Coles had a dislocated finger helps explain his drops. I just wish he would let the trainers/coaches know about these things when they happen. I know he really wants to play and dosn't want to complain, but if they know about it, maybe they can do something to help it while the D is on the field...
