This Just Turns My Stomach Evertime I Hear One
 

Thats an Amber Alert and one was just broadcast in our area for an abducted 1yr old little girl. With having a 2 1/2 yr old I just cannot imagine what goes through the mind of this little girls parents and the sinking feeling one must get. I hope they catch this bastard and put him under the jail for the rest of his life.

That happened right around the corner from where I work -- I kept wondering why I saw police cars everywhere.

It's a greenish/gray minivan with Florida tags...

They have a pic of the guy who snatched the girl and I bet it was her father or someone the family knew to have his picture up so fast.

Yeah, I was wondering how they got a picture of the guy so fast.

Hopefully that's the girl's father and this is some sort of custody dispute. Not some perv or anything.

Thats the first thing i thought of.
1. how did they have a pick of the guy
2. how was he able to take the child being so young, where were the parents? So he must be the father .. i hope

Apparently the girl's mother ran into a 7-11 with her little girl still in the car and the guy jumped in and drove off.

Another potential issue is if the guy isn't her father, realizes there's a little girl in the car and just abandons her somewhere. Then she's trapped in the car on a hot day ....

Think i read a stat somewhere this is most often the case with abductions...family or someone close to the family. I mean i know it's all bad but IMO it just seems scarier if it's a totally randomn event...

I guess you heard that on the news and that explains how they knew everything about the car and the info on the car seat. It does not explain how they have a picture of the person who abducted the girl. I guess the best case is that it is the childs father and he was following them looking for a chance to snag the kid.

They found the child walking around in some parking lot that is probably 20 or more miles where took the truck. They also say he forced the lady out of the way as she was pumping gas and took off in her car as she hung on.

She was wandering around unattended in a parking lot in Newport News -- guess the guy wasn't her father.

Imagine the relief of her mother...
