Joe Buck, HBO respond to wild Artie Lange appearance
Anyone catch this last night?
I heard a few minutes of the segment this morning on Stern Joe Buck, HBO respond to wild Artie Lange appearance - Richard Deitsch - SI.com |
Re: Joe Buck, HBO respond to wild Artie Lange appearance
I love Artie... and this was Artie being himself.
It was a pretty uncomfortable segment to watch... But also pretty ****ing hilarious. Paul Rudd was the only one who really walked out alive. |

Well Buck is definitely getting attention for his show from it. I'd say it was a win for him really in the end.

Yeah he can act like he didn't like it, but he's gotta be loving the attention the show is getting. He's also a big Stern fan, so I find it hard to believe he was really "shocked" at what happened. |

Re: Joe Buck, HBO respond to wild Artie Lange appearance
Was it that bad? Probably the first good TV I have seen in a long time. Buck didn't seem too mad and he got a few punches in himself. Artie just came off as the drunk relative at the family cook out. He was funny but no one took him seriously.

I love Artie. It's................difficult to visualize he and Buck together

I love when people go on TV and act out. The only problem is that Artie will die from substance abuse sooner or later, which is not that funny.

I'm almost done reading his book and I've never heard of a more self destructive person in my life. Dude needs some serious counseling. |
Re: Joe Buck, HBO respond to wild Artie Lange appearance
Artie is my hero...the Stern show rules. This may have gotten Joe Buck alot more ratings then his crap show diserves. he say there and hugged Artie afterwards and said he was great, and then cried to the press.
You can't trade punches with a comedian of Artie's caliber and no expect to get beaten... |
