The Redskins have announced that training camp will begin July 30, with the following practices open to the public at 8:30 a.m.: July 30, July 31, Aug. 1, Aug. 2, Aug. 4, Aug. 5, and Aug. 6.
Fan Appreciation Day is Aug. 8 with individual drills at 1:20 and an intra-squad scrimmage at 2.
Parking lots will open about 90 minutes before the scheduled start of practice and gates will open about one hour before.

I can't wait for this. This will be the 8th year in a row attending with my 3 sons; it has well become summer tradition.

Yeah Man, that was a cool event. it was a greet way to meet the players and have fun at VA Beach.

I never attended... was it really worth it? I just saw it as another venue to grab our money.

Yes, it is to bad. Hope it's not the end of the blitz for good?

Good time down here for the local SKIN FANS in the Hampton Roads area, hope the beach blitz returns next season.

anyone know why they arent doin the blitz this year? and why in the hell are they only having open practice at 8:30 in the morning?!! this is the second year in a row, which sucks for those of us who are 3+ hours away.
