Re: Holmgren on Campbell
Good advice.

Re: Holmgren on Campbell
Very sound. Of course it really is some obvious stuff.

Re: Holmgren on Campbell
It's the best approach to take. Fortunately we didn't pull the trigger on getting Cutler or Sanchez and this still has a chance to work out. Funny that a lot of posters don't think Campbell can play well in the WCO but Holmgren does.

I love that Holmgren is in Redskins park.

Re: Holmgren on Campbell
I believe JC can be good QB. He has not done one single thing to lead me to not believe that. Take a stroll through a Sunday's worth of games in the fall and you'll see limited QBs all over the place. They often have very obvious physical limits and sometimes less obvious, but discernible, mental/emotions limits. JC really hasn't shown anything like that in any determinable way. Let's give him adequate protection and time to KNOW the system then we can pass judgment. I don't feel has has had the chance with either really. He has learned a new system every other year at best and ran for his life most of last season. Heck with decent protection alone last year he played well in the first half of the season. He isn't a QB that can make plays with no protection but then again neither is Tom Brady or Peyton Manning for that matter.

Re: Holmgren on Campbell
Cutler? He sucks. Perhaps he meant to say " Tom Brady....what if"

What's also funny is the fact JC played his senior yr in college in a WCO style. The same style he flurished in and took his team to a national championship. I have no doubt he will do well in it if given time to throw. What I am concerned about is the fact that in the NFL defesive coach's have better ways to hide their blitz's. I honestly believe JC has trouble reading the defense at times and due to the lack of learning Zorns playbook he was unable to audible. Also his throwing motion was too long and slow. It looks like Zorn maybe trying to fix the throwing motion with quicker releases which is awsome. Hopefully with a better understanding of Zorn's WCO JC will do better. |

You know what irritates me? People who get sick of things and expect the world to revolve around them. If your tired of hearing or seeing this issue guess what ...you don't have to click on this thread. Simply skip it. Why do people think that if it's offensive to them or stupid or ignorant then no one else should listen, read, or watch it. If it bothers you ....change the channel. No one is forcing you to read, listen, or watch what makes you sick. :) have a nice day. |
