NJ kids with Nazi-inspired names removed from home
My only question is, why weren't these kids taken away sooner?

Because Drudge hadn't found the story sooner I would guess. What it took like less than a week once it became a Drudge level story.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell has Nazi ties too? I get Adolf Hitler and Aryan Nation, but sure if the 3rd has nazi ties.

Re: NJ kids with Nazi-inspired names removed from home
Are they losing their kids because they want to breed and nurture little Nazis? While I have no love for these despicable parents they shouldn't be losing their kids just because society deems their views unacceptable. I'm sure the court will be on their side and they'll get their kids back.

I believe it's a name that was inspired by Heinrich Himmler. |

I don't know, it's borderline abusive to me. Has there ever been a case like this before? |

Has there ever been a case like this before?[/quote] Oh yes, we just look the other way. Each and every year thousand of kids get indoctrinated in Jesus Camps and no one says anything. I mean, you got cults up the ying-yang in this country and unless they are abusing their children physically everything is peachy. When the kid grow up they can change their names, or not. |

If it has to be explained... nevermind. |

It may be that they are, in fact, actually shitty parents and are endangering the health and welfare of their children. While not (in my view) grounds for removing them from their home, any parent who names their kids after leading Nazis evidences a level of disregard that makes it easy for me to believe they would otherwise disregard the children's welfare. |

I agree with Saden in that these kids should not (and can not) be rightfully taken from their parents because of their name. But like JR says, the mere fact that they gave their kids those names shows they're morons, and could very well be abusive in other ways that would warrant removal from the home. This little article doesn't give much information. They could have been removed for other reasons. |
