pssst, when you cry wolf too many times people just stop listening...that won't stop them though.

Muslim - check
Radical - check
Single Shot - check

Ready, aim, fire!

Obama seems to keep some strang company or maybe he just happened into this neighborhood with all these people. Funny how the press will not release the video nor will the guy speak to the press.

Sense you used CNN for your thread I'll use Fox to keep things fair and balanced.

And, yet again, McCain also has ties to this guy.

Whatever. Here's the deal. Obama has never endorsed or promoted any policy of these "terrorists" (and this professor is simply pro-Palestinian). Is there any evidence he's the hidden radical the right wants us to believe he is? The main right wing argument is that Obama's rebuttals are not forceful enough or that we shouldn't believe his rebuttals because he's... well, who IS the real Obama? So denying it is not enough. He's got to condemn these guys as if he's Sean Hannity. And no doubt that wouldn't be good enough either.

This is the way negative campainging works. Even the denials of the attacked candidate keep the "story" alive no matter if the denial is legit. Obama has played this all correctly: deny it clearly and then let it go. Further, use the blowback against the attackers. This only works if the negative attacks are not working. And they're not. All they're doing is driving those who already reject Obama to think he's a lying, Muslim, terrorist, socialist, elitist, celebrity-loving, cocaine using, Messiah-complexed, Marxist, anti-American. All of these are terms used by McCain and his surrogates this election. FD, if you can't see the negative campaign here, then you are in serious denial. Yes, Obama has fought back with his own negatives: McCain is erratic on the economy, he's pro-Bush, he's anti-Middle class, he's anti-immigrant. But this is defensive. Obama's been running his "Hope" campaign for 2 years now. He only went negative in response, so as not to make Kerry's Swiftboat mistake. This is the Rove chickens coming home to roost.

In other words these people don't even know how to play the game. Does anyone do any research in the McCain camp? Throwing shit at the mirror in the hopes that it will stick is not cool, kinda disgusting too.
