RAVENS/TEXANS GAME canceled due to reliant stadium damage
 

the nfl network is reporting that city officials in houston texas have cancelled monday night's game between the ravens and texans.
the reason?there has been a lot of damage to the roof at reliant stadium.according to nfl network,some of the roof has been heavily damaged by hurricane ike.wonder how the league will reschedule this one?

Wow. I wonder what their bye weeks are. Apparently part of the roof is missing and there is heavy water damage.

Good thing for fantasy owners the only player worth a damn in that regard for either team is Andre Johnson.

maybe they'll move it to the superdome or san antonio?i would say dallas,but since the cowboys/eagles are gonna play on MNF,that leaves that option sol.

I live in San Antonio and the local sports was reporting last week that there was contact between Houston and San Antonio about the feasibility of Texan home games being played at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Do not know what direction it will take now though.

The Saints played a regular season game at the Alamodome after Katrina.

Texans Bye week is 10/26, and the Ravens is Nov. 9th.

Not much help there.

my nephew emailed my niece a picture from down there last week.he's an apco repairman and he was down there repairing the power lines.the pic he sent was him wrestling with a dead alligator.apparently,they get really grumpy after a hurricane and the state police have had to shoot a few of them to save the apco workers. i'm really praying for all those folks down there.it looks like there is gonna be a lot of people that did'nt survive this,and that's really sad.

The Nov. 9 game will be held during the Ravens' bye week. The Texans' home game against the Cincinnati Bengals, originally scheduled for Nov. 9, will be moved to Oct. 26, which was the bye week for both of those teams.

This Sunday will now count as the bye for the Ravens and Texans. The Bengals' bye will be Nov. 9.

Clever Scheduling.

Both teams should be extra tired at the end of the year, with an effective week -2- bye week.

Does anybody know if the Ravens had already travelled down there?
