Did Don Imus Go Too Far (Again) With His Latest Comments?
Just when you thought there was no more room for another foot, Imus finds more space in his mouth. Actually, I think he must be on Reverend Al's payroll to keep him in news. This guy is an embarrassment, guilty or innocent

This isn't near as bad as the last time.No matter what he says now he is gonna be looked at negatively, and rightfully so. This guy is a waste.
I think the only way anybody knows he made these comments is because it was all over the news last night. Nobody I know listens to that joke of a radio show. |
re: Did Don Imus Go Too Far (Again) With His Latest Comments?
Why is this guy still on the air??

re: Did Don Imus Go Too Far (Again) With His Latest Comments?
He's a sad, sad man. I can't believe people still listen to him.

re: Did Don Imus Go Too Far (Again) With His Latest Comments?
Unbelievable.....what a crock for an explanation....
I would love for no one to take any action, no protests, no more media coverage, and him get fired within the next few months because his ratings suck and no one is listening. That way he can bumble off into obscurity with no excuse for being a failure and an idiot. |

I do not listen to him and cannot comment without hearing how this went on the radio but even with his down fall Imus does do allot of good for children with cancer. The Imus Ranch - American Profile |

The Imus Ranch - American Profile
I used to listen to him every so often about 5-7 years ago, so I know all about his charitable work. But, that doesn't excuse his comments and I'm not sure how that's relevant. |
re: Did Don Imus Go Too Far (Again) With His Latest Comments?
He only says these things because the real racists in the country (Sharpton and company) get all riled up and give him publicity.
I'm not excusing his words (even though Pacman is a piece of trash himself) but the reactions to his comments are what's causing all of the controversies. Put the bullhorns and sidewalk signs away, Al...and you'll see a lot less racial tension in this nation. Stop listening to Imus, ignore his idiotic comments and his career will go away. Now where are the protests when Howard Stern degrades women constantly? OH yeah, we only get angry when minority races are involved. |

My point was people are attacking him like he is the lowest form of life and I thought people should know what he does off the air for children of all races. |
re: Did Don Imus Go Too Far (Again) With His Latest Comments?
On Tuesday he said he was following the spirit of that promise by calling attention to the unfair treatment of blacks — in this case the arrests of suspended Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam Jones.
"What people should be outraged about is that they arrest blacks for no reason," Imus said Tuesday. "I mean, there's no reason to arrest this kid six times. Maybe he did something once, but everyone does something once."
Ha...actually, he seems to be sticking up for Jones. So where's the racism against him? Wow...our panties get knotted too easily in this society sometimes. :D If anything, he's an idiot for wanting to give Pacman any sympathy. |
re: Did Don Imus Go Too Far (Again) With His Latest Comments?
Oh this is headed in a beautiful direction.

re: Did Don Imus Go Too Far (Again) With His Latest Comments?
So "Adam" Jones is now "TAFKAP"?

Does his history reflect his sentiments? You really buying his explanation? If you do, I have a bridge to sell you. I could careless what Imus says but the dude is a racist and I don't use that word lightly. I wonder if he hangs out with John Rocker? |
re: Did Don Imus Go Too Far (Again) With His Latest Comments?
He would be wise to avoid any sort of racial discussions.
He said his comment was meant to be sarcastic, but he really didn't make that clear at the time and now he's in damage control mode. And like saden said, given his history it's tough to believe him now. |
re: Did Don Imus Go Too Far (Again) With His Latest Comments?
I've never listened to Imus so i have no idea how he talks, what he talks about etc.
I can say that it didn't sound like sarcasm when i heard it. |
