Tough, tough loss for Tony Stewart. Oh man, that was brutal to see that happen (for JGR fans at least)

Yes a flat with a couple to go (I'm sure ole smoke didn't have anything good to say about Goodyear Tires as he stomped into his hauler), that was a tough one for sure for JGR. At least he was smart enough to vent in closed quarters, not another Goodyear media meltdown. I must say from what I've seen Goodyear seems to be making a subpar tire for NASCAR racing demands at best. |
Re: Nascar:Dodge dominates at Lowes Motor Speedway
I caught the tail end of the race...and besides the damn flat Tony got (c'est la vie - that's racing), the biggest thing that determined the race was green flag racing for the last 62 laps, or just over a full tank's worth of gas. Carl Edwards gambled and lost 7 spots along with 37 points.
The only thing I can say about Goodyear is that everyone races on them...so everyone has the "disadvantage" so to speak... Dover this coming weekend. I'll be down in Rehoboth with the family this weekend, so I'm sure I'll see plenty of race fans. |
