If we can't win / NO vs. CHI, and MIN vs. DEN
I don't want it to go this route but, if we do lose to the Cowboys this week we would need losses by the Saints and the Vikqueens to get into the playoffs. The Saints are playing the Bears in Chicago, and the Vikings are going to Denver. If we lose, what are our chances of pulling a playoff birth from these two games?

Denver is the sorriest team against the run they might try to use our formula but if they spread the wideouts and run the ball. I don't think Denver can beat the Vikings. Saints it a toss up depends on what Chicago team shows up!!! |

I'm not going to even bother thinking about these scenarios.

Re: If we can't win / NO vs. CHI, and MIN vs. DEN
The Broncos have always been "decent" team at home, so I think the Vikings will have difficulties winning there. The Vikings quarterback is not good. He is not playoffs calibur. I actually see the Broncos pulling a win over the Vikings than the Bears beating the Saints. The Saints would destroy the Bears. The Bears are only good on 1 cylinder...Special Teams.

Re: If we can't win / NO vs. CHI, and MIN vs. DEN
The Bears may not have to be good, they may just need weather like they had last week and they could win. Saints = passing team... verses cold nasty weather = loss.
Vikings = running team.... verses cold nasty weather = win, UNLESS the Vikings turn it over a bunch, then the Broncos could win. Don't count on the Bears or the Broncos helping. The Skins need to win period. |

If you can't win at home against a team that has nothing to play for and is going to rest it's players you don't deserve to go to the playoffs.

We have one game to win and thats this Sunday at FedEx at this point nothing else matters! We take care of OUR OWN business and things will line up as they should.

Seriously, me either. I want to go in red hot, play Seattle, hopefully come out iwth a victory, than get the real match up of the Skins v Cowboys in 2 weeks. Seriously, if we have to back in by losing to second and third stringers, than forget it. We shouldnt be there. |
Re: If we can't win / NO vs. CHI, and MIN vs. DEN
I don't want to back into the playoffs. If we can't beat a Dallas team with nothing to play for, what chance would we have in Seattle? I'd almost prefer staying at home and getting the higher draft pick if we lose to Dallas.

Totally agree with the thinking here. Let's say the Skins lose, the Vikes lose and the Saints lose, the Skins getting in, would make us all feel like being the last kid picked to play on the playground because no one else wants us. "OK, someone has to take them, hey Seahawks, you got them!" |
