After suffering his worst year in Washington, a year in which the [URL="http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Washington+Redskins?tid=informline"]Redskins[/URL] finished 31st in the [URL="http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/National+Football+League?tid=informline"]NFL[/URL] in total defense, 23rd against the pass and 27th against the run, it would have been easy for assistant head coach [URL="http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/related/topic/Gregg+Williams?tid=informline"]Gregg Williams[/URL] to overhaul the defense. The questions were too apparent to ignore.
