Wow! I'm sad to hear that. He made the 49ers into one of the best franchise ever. Another legend is gone.

That is horrible. Obviously one of the best coaches in history. :(

I'm a little shocked at that. I was unaware he was not in good health. His Niner teams were invincible!

I had no idea he was that old.
Great coach, and he was a great innovator. He helped make football what it is today.

A tragedy indeed...His 49er teams along with our Redskins owned the 80's. May he RIP. Another one of the greats has gone.
