"Redskins Memory of the Week" page updated, video clips of 71 Rams game
Hi, guys
Just wanted to let you know I have updated my site, which is called "Redskins Memory of the Week." Every week or so (hence the title), I try to include a brief video clip of a great Redskin moment. This week it's the classic 1971 game against the Rams on MNF. George Allen was returning to face the team that had fired him a year before, and if the Redskins win, they're in the playoffs for the first time in years. They start off shaky, but manage to win by two touchdowns by the time it's all over. Anyway, download and enjoy! http://www.mindspring.com/~dissident/skinsmemories.html |
Hey, this is pretty cool. So you'll be updating this weekly? Anyway, I redirected your thread to Redskins Merchandise. Seemed to fit in more there

I update it weekly, so stay tuned. It's been up for awhile now, and I've already posted some of the classic moments, but they'll come around again. |

Wow, you've got some pretty cool stuff on that site!
I loved the electric guitar version of "HTTR!"-- definitely a unique and energetic take on our beloved fight song! That video of the Draft Day Party is pretty cool, too. I think I must've been standing pretty close to you, because that perspective is almost identical to the pictures I have from Gibbs' speech on the field. It's great to relive that moment-- I'm glad somebody caught it on tape! It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it-- it was just a hint of how re-energized this fanbase has become now that Gibbs is back. Can't wait to be at FedEx for a game this year. |
cool site, thanks for the update. Be sure to let us know when you add a new clip!
