Eddie Robinson displayed class throughout his storied career. He would be a great man if he hadn't won a single football game.

Rest in Peace.

He seems to have been the anti-Barkeley.

Black or white, he seems to be an interesting person to learn a lot from.

Re: RIP Eddie Robinson

He contributed so much to college football.

I hadn't heard of Grambling State until Doug Williams came to us. I noticed his college team was playing on TV one year not long after SBXXII and saw how great of a team it was to watch. I watch the Bayou Bowl with Grambling and Southern every year as I do the Army/Navy game. Eddie Robinson was one of the greatest coaches and individuals college football has ever known. To get as many wins as he did with such limits as the school had was an amazing feat that not many (if any others) could have achieved.

He'll be missed.

A true legend of the game who will surely be missed. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

Of his two-hundred players who went on to play in the NFL, two played for our Washungton Redskins. There will never be another like Eddie Robinson.

Previously I stated there were two former Grambling St. players who played for the Redskins but there were actually three, one I had forgotten about.

Henry Dyer RB/WR, Clifton McNeil WR, and of course QB Doug Williams.

Many say that Coach Rob set the standard. I say that he IS the standard. Well done thy good and faithful servant!
