Best Game Between Gibbs and Parcells

this year's blocked field goal game at fed ex was up in the top 5,but the one which maybe the best for me was the last game of the 82/83 strike year when joe theisman threw 3 ints to LT in the first half, and moseley kicked a field goal with 2 seconds left to get the skins by 19-18,and he also set the nfl record for consecutive field goals on the same play.it was also one of the few times i ever saw the redskins play a game in a snowstorm.

The second game of the 2005 season when the Redskins destroyed the Cowboys 35-7, I won't ever forget the look on Parcells face during that game! Wasn't a close game by any means, but man was it fun!

the one thing Gibbs has brought back to this team is an ability to compete with Dallas...up until him, you could pretty much mark those games as losses

definitely Dallas I 2005. The blocked field goal was miraculous but it wasn't like the TDs to Moss. I think those TDs propelled our offense for much of the year as it showed what Brunell and Moss could do and it got us to the playoffs.

How about a game that sort of had some sad moments but triumph in the end? The game where Theismann breaks his leg, but Jay comes in and saves us?

I don't think many would consider the game, where our Pro Bowl QB has his career ended, a great game regardless of the outcome.

Was that the game where Joe Washington reversed field on that run and Joe Theismann laid out that vicious block freeing JW up for a touchdown? Great game but I'm pretty sure that was from before Parcells was head coach of the Giants.

Was Parcells the coach because I don't think he was

yes you are correct sir, gibbs called for a halfback option,jw was to sweep right and throw to monk but ny sniffed it out and jw reversed field and took around left end and the only thing between jw and endzone was cb terry jackson and joeyt tok him out with a textbook crossbody block.Ray perkins was the coach,Parcells came the next year

I was thinking this game too. Yeah Joe's career ended, but the very next play Jay Schroeder hit Monk for 40+ yards. then we came out in the 2nd half and recovered an onside kick. I think that game said a lot about Gibbs' competitiveness.

I think Brunell to Moss is definately the best one for the Redskins with the ass whooping last season at Fed ex and the kick block this year at Fed Ex right behind.
