Brunell sucks - Ends Game with 2/5 passing

Just thought I'd give the haters a place to hang out...

2/5 is rediculous! I was not aware of that! Thank you brud for arming me with the ammunition I need to discredit that drab performance yesterday...

... on a side note, do you guys ever get gas that smells like food? I swear everytime I fart this morning I think i just walked into taco bell... and I haven't eaten taco bell!

I feel "better", but I still want to see him hit a couple deep bombs. Sure, we didn't have to do that against the Texans, but I want to see him open it up.

Are you talking about Tuna's gas here?

He looked comfortable dumping five yard passes in a three-step drop against the worst defensive team in the league. Yippee.

I'm glad he connected on nearly all of them, but he passed for a total of about 50 yards. I'll be curious to see the YAC. TMC is right - we need to see some longer passes. I only saw 2-3 attempts all game.

Brunnell had a fine game. He did what was asked and didn't make any mistakes. Against the Texans, he didn't need to make big plays. Against the Jags, he will need to make some big plays. I hope he does.

I must say, I'm still encouraged by what I saw. The fact the he actually connected on 22 straight passes can't be taken away, anyway you slice it.

You have to figure that Jacksonville will have to gameplan for all the mis-direction and screen plays. He looked comfortable for the first time yesterday. The offense will build on yesterday's success and start taking some deep shots.

JoeRedskin and 12thMan said it well. MB was competent, and you can't knock 22 completions in a row. If he continues to not make mistakes (and the O-line can buy him time, which is the unknown factor), then there should be quite a few more wins this season for the Skins.

It was certainly a step in the right direction, but he has to show it against more than the Texans, obviously. But it took just one game to get him on track last year, so maybe that sort of spark is what he needs. Recall how bad he sucked before the 4th quarter in Dallas last season. Then he rolled until he got hurt.

what i'd expect from a vet facing absolutely zero pass rush.

Jags will gameplan to take CP out of the game which will open up the outside for the receivers. I look for the Skins to play another good game this weekend at home and MAYBE they can squeak a win out from a VERY good team.
