New Forum: D.C. Sports
 

We've got a new forum on the boards called [URL="http://www.thewarpath.net/d-c-sports/"]D.C. Sports[/URL], it will be dedicated to all discussions regarding the Nats, Wizards and Caps!

The team forums will also be dedicated to that sport's general discussion as well, so for example the Nats forum will also be for MLB discussion, Wizards for the NBA, and Caps for the NHL.

What about the DC team that's actually won a few championships recently, DC United? (Yes, soccer is a sport...;))

hometown teams baby... i mean personally i dont care much for hockey or pro basketball, but if i am watching im gonna root for the zards and caps...

Yesterday was the first time I got to talk about another sport other than football at this site. It was great to talk some hoops. I'm sure many people here are way into some of the other DC teams and other sports in general but we all know what team is King around here. I probably need to vent about the other teams way more than the Redskins that's for sure.

I really do not like the new section "DC sports" it seems like the parking is becoming like other forums, with too many divisions. I understand the idea is to try to keep it organized, but I think it is overdone. I like to go to the Parking Lot and dicuss general non-football topics, and it is nice to see those topics next to each other, so I can easily navigate. Now with this DC sports thing, it just creates extra crap(sorry could not find a better word) I have to go through. Besides threads about the World Cup and Zidance, are put into the DC United category, which is incorrect. I understand the idea behind it, but I think the site would be better if it was changed back to how it was before.
