Favorite TV Shows of All Time?
Inspired by the "Was Friends a Great Sitcom?" thread I thought I'd start this one. What are your favorite tv shows of all time?
Here are mine: 1. The Simpsons 2. Family Ties 3. Homicide: Life on the Street 4. Frasier 5. Cheers (interestingly enough I never watched Cheers when it was actually on, just started watching it after it went into syndication) |
right now it's:
1.) CSI 2.) Simpsons 3.) ER 4.) Smallville 5.) South Park but all time for me it'd be: 1.) CSI 2.) Simpsons 3.) Friends 4.) ER 5.) Saved by the Bell and recently i've been realy getting into law and order (the regular one) and scrubs is making it's way up my list of personal favorites. another show that i watched nearly every episode of was oz on hbo. |
Scrubs is making its way up my list as well. That, and Alias. I liked CSI the first season but haven't watched it so much since then.
You mean Saved by the Bell with Kelly Kapowski right? Because even though the New Class was on longer it just wasn't all that good. Was there ever a more powerful episode in tv history than Jessie OD's on sleeping pills? LOL |

LOL[/QUOTE] kelly aka tiffany amber theissan was my first crush and this was when i still thought girls had cutties, lol. i never watched the new class, but i did watch some of the episodes when the originals went off to college. what was the song she had to sing in that episode? wasn't it i will survive or something like that? |
King of the Hill & Without a Trace
I also like some CSI Miami episodes. |
Friends and Seinfeld I thikn are what you have to compare all Citcoms too. Granted I wasent around for the Cheers and MASH and some older shows that were popular.
I was a huge friends fan , and that goes down as my favorite show ever. |
Of all time makes me think too much here are my current/recent past favorites:
Simpsons Chappelle's Show Southpark Daily Show Futurama King of the Hill Scrubs 70's Show Family Guy |

"I'm So Excited" Look at me, I'm such a renaissance man with my breadth of knowledge, from the Redskins to Saved by the Bell |

Gotta say though, from you Daseal I was expecting, even hoping, for some off the wall choice that would make us all wonder what you were smoking. Something like say "The Steve Spurrier Show" |
Does anyone in here watch According to Jim? Thats a very underated show, I like that one alot.
|
SMoot: If there was a Steve Spurrier show, I would attend every single taping!
I'm really only crazy with my football ideals! |
I guess you don't get the DC-NBC affiliate. Because back when Spurrier was coach every Saturday night was the Steve Spurrier show with George Michael (of SportsMachine, not Wham!) and Sonny Jurgensen

i don't know if it was the same show or not but i remember there being one on either saturday or sunday mornings on which spurrier and sometimes his son went over last weeks game and the upcoming opponent. |
hah, that's right, Smoot. I'd watch that now and then! I thought you were going for more of a variety hour! With Steve juggling and jumping through hoops.
