Pre Game Antics

Hail all,

In the light of the recent fracas between the Eagles and the Falcons (They fought a very coquetish dance over the Falcons field logo)and thinking back to a mid-game no-no from T.O. in Dallarse one time on the star at the 50, what would you like to see our beloved Redskins do to antagonize the Cow-Whores?

As long as no one got ejected/fined/flagged I'd put up with most things, but I'd really, really, really like to see them all snot on the Star as they go off the field after warm-ups. But that's just me......

Re: Pre Game Antics

I think Pantomiming urinating on the star might be nice. Probably a little overboard and finable but it would be funny.

Re: Pre Game Antics

Just something to show us fans that their 'dislike' of that team is akin to ours (or at least mine).

Re: Pre Game Antics

How bout a good old fashioned pow wow around the star with Lavar, Clinton and Sean Taylor dancing in the center directly on the star?

Re: Pre Game Antics

I didn't post the question because the players read this site, honestly.

I 'm a big believer in "act like you've done it before." Still, I was amused with T.O's midfield antics in Dallas.

Re: Pre Game Antics

Hmmmm.....good one...how's about they re-enact Lavar ending Troy Aikman's career smack dab in the middle of the star...mean but good!

BigSKINBauer 09-14-2005 07:06 PM

Re: Pre Game Antics

honestly i don't want them to dance on the star or any craziness like that. I can't even imagine a player doing that on our team. I would however just like someone to garantee a victory and then win... if they lose it would be horrible

RedskinRat 09-14-2005 07:31 PM

Re: Pre Game Antics

BigSkinsBauer, I also want them to win but I was specifically talking about the parallel between our rivalry and the Eagles/Falcons and what went on there.

Re: Pre Game Antics

Even though it would cost us a 15 yard penality for excessive celebration (dumbest rule in the NFL,) I would love to see the Redskins do the "fun bunch" thing where they're all in a circle and jump up for a team high five!

Hell yeah, if we're womping their asses I think an old fashioned fun bunch would be perfect.

DUDE I KNOW! I'd love to see them pull that off.

I'd like to see jimoh go throw a punch at parcells or bledsoe and see how it works out... even if they don't hit back, at least jimoh will be off the field.

STPainmaker 09-14-2005 08:42 PM

Re: Pre Game Antics

What if we sent Jimoh to pinch a hot steaming loaf on the star at the 50 yard line wearing a Tom Landry hat.

TheMalcolmConnection 09-14-2005 08:59 PM

Re: Pre Game Antics

What if when Emmitt, Aikman and Irvin get "enshrined" on Monday, we have LaVar tackle again AGAIN while Sean slams Emmitt and we give Irvin some coke.

Give? You don't think he'll have his own?

Rumor has it that they have a coke dispenser in their locker room.

Re: Pre Game Antics

haha. good one redskinrat. i like the idea of pantomiming a skins player peeing on the star after scoring a td, or perhaps one of doing the fun bunch high five with a group of the skins most popular players on the star. i don't care about the 15 yard penalty, they should be allowed to celebrate considering we haven't won there in years.

Re: Pre Game Antics

I just want to see them win the game. That would be the most antagonistic thing that they could possibly do. The rest amounts to nothing but silly gestures and may get the Cowboys unnecessarily fired up.

I want them complacent about us when the game starts.

Anyway, Gibbs has always frowned on such antics and rightfully so.

I find it amusing that two players are thrown out of one game and others have been fined for pre-game stuff, yet last week a Bears player clearly made an illegal hit on our QB and, so far, nothing from the league office.

Yep, I agree 100%! Lord knows if one of our players had done the samething, he'd been suspended for the rest of the season, fined, tortured, and denied sex for the next five years! :coach:

If the Cow-Whores aren't already fired up I'd be extremely surprised. Get them more fired up? Great, they'll be more likely to make mistakes.

Re: Pre Game Antics

As far as my ideal celebration, it would have to be the steaming loaf (great one STP). The fun bunch would be a very nice alternative.

A choregraphed sideline routine wher the Skins all raise their hands together signalling touchdown. Do it as a team, all for one and one for all. Sure would piss them off.

Also spiking the ball on the Star is an excellent way to say up yours.
