Trump's cabinet
I don't even know what to say... especially with how the richest man in the world has Trump in his back pocket.
Donald Trump picks Elon Musk for new cost-cutting role Tracking Trump’s Cabinet picks I am looking forward to the day when they all turn their backs on him |
Re: Trump's cabinet
One thing, these aren’t necessarily maga choices outside the very capable border czar/ex ICE director….there are a lot of neocon like choices so far. Certainly Wiles and Rubio. But Hegseth also as well. While he certainly has pandered to the Trump populism of recent his past and is mostly an outsider…he’s had support of the bill kristol of the world. This is good, more balance
Out: drain the swamp…in more Washington savy gop. I think not having that his first time got him into trouble quickly, just ignorant of the true trash in DC how they operate. This DoGE group sounds promising |
Re: Trump's cabinet
I will give Trump credit he told America exactly what he was going to do and yet we elected him anyway.
Give purse strings to a corporate owner that bids on government contracts and has current federal lawsuits against their companies Going full neocon Don and selling cabinet positions to Miriam Adelson. Money =voice it is such horse shit |
Re: Trump's cabinet
Serious conflicts of interest with this Doge BS, cabinet selections grossly unqualified or openly hostile towards the agencies they are tapped to lead, yup sounds like a Trump cabinet and I'm sure we'll keep seeing more of the same

Re: Trump's cabinet
Man, this is going to be another insufferable 4 years in the Debating with the Enemy section.

Who's fault is that? |
Re: Trump's cabinet
Matt Gaetz is attorney general. Tulsi Gabbord is Director of National Intelligence.
Just part of his Sycophant Cabinet. |

Re: Trump's cabinet
Only the best. Well the majority opted for him so they can’t have any regrets. If his administration is the 💩 show we think it will be and the impact of everything he wants to do is negative; they deserve everything that’s coming to them.

Re: Trump's cabinet
Hear that? That’s head’s exploding

Re: Trump's cabinet
It's just amazing how all of Trump's picks are dogshit before they can even complete 1-day on the job. And somehow Trump is also the only president ever that appoints cabinet members that are mostly in-line with his thinking.
Like Peter Buttigieg, Merrick Garland, Antony Blinken, Janet Yellen, etc. etc. aren't the same "sycophants" that Biden appointed, but just with a D next to their name instead. I just don't understand the blatant double-standard you guys can have about all things Trump. Like he was the beginning and end of this. Nothing like this EVER happened before 2016 or from 2020-2024. |

Re: Trump's cabinet
Reminder, the first domino which fell was Twitter locking out the Babylon Bee for a post which stated Man of the Year over a picture Rachel Levine the cross dressing retard who Biden named as the Assistant Secretary for Health of the United States Department of Health and Human Services
It was a joke because retard media propagandist outlet USA Today had name Rachel Levine Woman of the Year. That was the first domino to fall that ensured Trump’s victory |

Well Trump was a better President than the Biden/Harris administration. So that’s the major problem with your argument |

Re: Trump's cabinet
Matt fucking Gaetz, for fucks sake
|
Re: Trump's cabinet
Bet you didn’t have Gaetz AG on your Project 2025 Bingo Card!
Save all communications Democrats! |

Re: Trump's cabinet
Gaetz apparently is resigning from Congress immediately. Probably related to the House Ethics report that was about to drop.

What’s next MTG or Bobo gets a spot? Just insane.

The same Gaetz linked to human trafficking, pedophilia, bribery, a DUI arrest, and sexual harassment. I gotta admit Gaetz nomination is a least shocking (Is this Trumps way of giving the finger to the FBI and Desantis who investigated Gaetz as Gaetz made efforts to legalize marijuana (related to the bribery accusations)? And putting an advocate for China and Russia as the director of National Intelligence just reinforces my belief that Trump actually is a Russian agent. |
Re: Trump's cabinet
Tulsi will be reporting directly to Vladimir.
Who's fault is that?
the losers for not accepting the results of their failed candidates and policies, and instead blaming the winner. Trump didn't have to be elected if the Dem's had put up a moderate who reached across the divide instead they put up the liberal equivalent of Trump. If Harris had won the cabinet would be filled with the extreme liberal equivalent in each of these positions.

This sort of sounds like something Kim Strassel of the WSJ wrote within the past two years. She said if Trump wins and appoints unqualified people to his cabinet, it'll be the Dems fault for persecuting him. Nothing is ever Trump's fault to his supporters. He can do no wrong. |

There are 166 million registered voters in America Trump got 70 million the Democrats got 65 million that means there's at least 25 million that were disaffected I certainly count myself among one of those I don't hold to the extreme left or extreme right I would like to see somebody who speaks to the center of the country. It's clear that the Democratic base would come out to keep Trump from being elected so they could have put a more moderate candidate up. edit: Since we're playing Philadelphia today and we don't have a cornerback that can cover AJ Brown I'll use that as an example. Whose fault is it that AJ Brown continues to beat us? Is it Philadelphia's for playing a receiver that is quick enough and strong enough to beat us repeatedly OR is it Washington's fault for not going and finding the cornerback that can beat the the division rivals main strength? Re: Trump's cabinet
Why do the democrats have to be more moderate though? There’s nothing moderate about Trump but that’s ok?
Democrats need to be perfect while Trump can spew bullshit like they’re eating the cats and dogs and people are like yeah, sign me up for that I just can’t relate to Kamala saying she wants to help me buy a house. Maybe this country is just deeply broken at an intellectual level. |

I am going to call out Rubio and Stefanik picks because I see that as continuing the genocide in Gaza and eventual occupation of West Bank and north Gaza. To be far if Harris was elected she would have selected someone of the same ilk because she has said so during her campaign and we see Israel as being able to do no wrong even though they are crappy allies at best to us. |
Re: Trump's cabinet
Trump ran a very moderate campaign. Harris on the other hand refused to verbally state her position and instead had handlers give statements that she doesn’t support that anymore.
On Gaetz The main issue with Matt Gaetz is that he used his office to prosecute his political opponents and authorized federal agents to harass parents who were peacefully protesting at school board meetings Oh wait, that's actually Merrick Garland, the current attorney general. |

Majority of people support ID to vote and don’t support late trimester abortion. Defund the police position or letting violent criminals roam the streets is wildly unpopular. Having a secure border is a common ground issue. Democrats fucked themselves |

Got it. Republicans have done a great job brainwashing people on “issues” that really aren’t issues for 99% of us like trans. And straight up lies like kids using litter boxes in school and coming home a different sex.

lol litter boxes….actually the only one who fell for that was Tony Dungy! That was hilarious If it’s not issue why are progressives just this week calling Seth Moulton a nazi and threatening to primary him? I need an honest opinion from neocons and Democrats here
Give me the position reasons for Biden/Harris allowing the border open and allowing illegals to pour in? What’s the logic honestly? |

Some claim that you needed these people to fill jobs in housing and agriculture that Americans don't want to do. But not really sure I completely buy it. Our immigration system is a mess, and I will give Trump credit for at least trying to do something. It does seem that the Sen Lankford bill was a start and should've been passed, but people should rightfully ask why the Biden Admin did next to nothing for three years. That said, I'm still troubled that the GOP voting base overwhelmingly chose Trump over DeSantis and Haley. Yes, Trump's pre-covid presidency wasn't bad, but his post 2020 election behavior was terrible and the fact that the guy paid no political price for Jan 6 is astonishing. |

That said I need to see what Trump has planned for deportations. I am definitely for stay in Mexico, deporting those that don't cross at legal points of entry, deporting criminals, but if the guy I buy coffee from every morning for the last 7 years, who asks about my kids and is trying to make his life better gets deported I do have trouble with it. Also don't confuse woke with progressive as you did in an earlier post. Progressive is an economic ideology. Woke is ...whatever it is exhausting. In terms of Gaetz, he has done some very consumer friendly voting while in congress that any progressive would be proud of and if he becomes a big advocate of consumers this could be a decent AG move. He voted to break up silicon valley monopolies, he voted to ban non compete employee contracts, regulated data broker industry and voted to end forced arbitration for employees. If that is who we get that would be great and yes there will be some bad in there as well I know but holding out for the time being. I was reading an article about the above Gaetz voting earlier if I can find it I will post it. |

Gaetz is big on animal rights.
Thanks for the answers, I just never understood the motivation |
