I don't watch nearly enough CFB over here to know how good these guys are, but I like how we haven't hesitated with UDFA signings this year. It always felt like under RR we were 2-3 days late to the party on UDFA's. Maybe none make the team, but maybe there's a diamond or two in there. |
Re: Post draft/UDFA
Least there's one OL out of the 10 kids they signed ...... 🤷

Chigozie Anusiem, CB, Colorado State
6’ 1” 200 pounds ran a 4.39 40. Very raw. Interesting. |

Re: Post draft/UDFA
It helps when you have the 2nd most cap space in the NFL.
It is worth taking a flyer on a player that possesses all of the physical tools and you can coach him up. We now have the staff players want to play for. Small $ price to pay. |

Pretty incredible what Peters has done already for this franchise. Seems like he's very attentive to detail and charismatic. Offseason has been great so far. Want more olinemen is main request now. |
Re: Post draft/UDFA
Peters has, in one partial offseason, added:
around 20 free agents 9 draft picks, about 10 undrafted free agents. Creating a tutorial for how to restart a franchise (yes the trick is getting the most cap space and 9 picks) This team definitely will be different. Hopefully different means much much better. Re: Post draft/UDFA
I thought it was pretty telling (and funny) how Dotson said that it feels like he's been traded - that's how much the atmosphere has changed in 3+ months.

Re: Post draft/UDFA
normal terms are like 25k bonus and 225k, so 50k and 300k doesn't seem like a big deal.

Really think him and Quinn could be a dynamite combo. |
Re: Post draft/UDFA
I think alot of us arm chair QBs look at how can we make this team great ASAP, meaning a playoff contender next year.
Peters looks at in a 3-5 year window; the 2nd pick in the draft illustrated this decision making; he knows the Dline is getting older plus it gives him the opportunity to maybe trade one of our "star" DT there are/were way to many holes to repair this roster in one off season but alot was accomplished if we go 6-11, 7-10, 9-8 and we see some good development in JD5; that is a great year for Adam and company |

Think around .500 is attainable and get Daniels going. If oline and secondary come together, and Daniels balls out maybe more than that. I expect to this team to improve as the season goes along considering the newness of the entire team.

Philly is loaded and the favorite.. NYG owns us so even if they suck they are still tough to beat and Dallas will ve competitve although they lost a lot of guys |

NYG owned RR. This is a new era from the top down. We should be better than the Gmen mainly because of Danny Dimes. Dallas are getting less fearsome year on year so its still the Eagles who rule the roost. If we can go 3-3 at least in the division I'd say its cause for optimism. Hell if we only split with the Gmen and Dallas, its an improvement. |

The Giants have owned our team in the past, no matter who was the coach. We always seemed to be their rebound game every year. |

Quinn and Daniels need to own the Giants. 2024 will be a huge season for Daboll and Jones. Commanders need to hand them 2 losses.

Being bad enough to get the #2 pick was key. Check. Then we hired a coaching staff the NFL players respect and want play here. Check. Now a good draft. The obvious is we drafted solid players. But what really impressed me with this FO is they were prepared. The late round draft picks and UDFA’s are the best I have seen since Beathard/Casserly early 1980’s. Looks like a handful of these guys might make the team and eventually contribute. If so, it has been decades since we have seen that. |

I'm enjoying the Kool Aid right now. Please don't bring me down with predicted win totals less than double digits.

We are gonna win anywhere from 0 to 17 games. Probably, based on a closer look at the schedule somewhere in the middle of those two numbers. Honestly with a rookie quarterback and so many new faces on the field, and on the sideline I can’t even begin to guess. If I had to put a number on it I would go with 8. If everything goes right, (JD balls out, oline holds up, injuries aren’t crazy, BSJ and Forbes are helped by better coaching, Dotson bounces back, etc…. ), I would say 12 is possible. If alot of that goes wrong, 6 is possible. |
Re: Post draft/UDFA
8 is magic number ... + or - 1 game we could make playoffs! and 7 wins is huge improvement.. I'd bet we do not get blown out like under Ron !!

The staff alone is worth 3 more wins than last year. |
Re: Post draft/UDFA
The staff alone is worth 3 more wins than last year.
We have the most stable staff in the division by far. McCarthy is a dead man walking. Daboll is one blowup away from dismissal. Sirianni can't afford another collapse.
We have the most athletic qb. Prescott will be pressing, Hurts is adequate with some shine, Jones has to stay healthy AND perform. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk |

Must watch: The phone calls to all of the guys drafted. It's just so cool to see the pure happiness/joy expressed for an unbelievable moment very few get to enjoy. Cool stuff.

Wow, enjoyable boring franchise! Great feeling of normalcy where we don’t have idiots owning and running the franchise
Looking forward to the defense and offense installs. Nice just to talk ball |
Peters is a likeable dude.
Yes, he seems genuine and pretty down to Earth really. He has natural charisma. We are super fortunate to have him, as he has a natural eye for total team talent. Also like the type of players he's getting- tougher and seemingly more dedicated. Happy with the offseason moves, just want more new olinemen more than anything.
