It's official, wacko is back |
Re: Around the NFL week 8
Unless he's been willing to get some mental health help, I don't see this lasting long.

The Bucs are a damn good team

Exactly. I don't see that Brown adds much, if anything, to what they already had. In fact, if he goes bizarro again, he could actually hurt them, IMO. |

He still has pending legal issues to deal with so I'd say it's 50/50 right now as to if he is able to play out the season or not |
Re: Around the NFL week 8
random but .. I noticed Doc Walker is not in the mornings with Galdi this week and instead on the Brian Mitchell show? You can just hear the discord btw Doc and Galdi and I dont think they like each other at all.
Cooley pod cast -- what day does he do it and where can I find a link each week to listen? edit -- found it. google kevin sheehan show https://theteam980.com/the-kevin-sheehan-show/ |

This has to be his last chance. I think he'll make it 8 games. What's interesting is this summer, Arians was ADAMANT that he wanted nothing to do with AB when asked. Brady did this. |
Re: Around the NFL week 8
Seems the Cowboys are clearing house, albeit of poor performers; Poe and Worley released.
Given their D performances though, how do you tell who's underperforming? :) |
Re: Around the NFL week 8
It would not shock me at all if Dallas tanked the rest of the year and fired the staff again.

Re: Around the NFL week 8
One thing about the NFL, if you have talent then you will continue to get chances if you fuck up. Why would anyone want this idiot in their locker room? Look at his behavior the last few years? The guy needs to be on serious bi polar meds.

Talent; the ultimate redeemer. |

Chad Dukes fired from 106.7 The Fan for "racist and inappropriate" comments on his personal podcast. Haven't seen anything yet on what he said but no doubt it will come out soon. |
Re: Around the NFL week 8
Bet he slipped up and said the name Redskins. :D
Hey look, we have a Chad Dukes logo on our forum. Redskins #32! |

Like to see Raheem Morris keep the job in Atlanta. Think he has them playing better.

Re: Around the NFL week 8
After seeing Carolina shit the bed and looking at our schedule we could actually go 8-8. That is how many putrid teams they are.
Philly Giants Dallas Carolina Cincy Detroit All winnable games. Amazing. |

Re: Around the NFL week 8
Agree except for Caroline. The D alone might be enough to beat Eagles, Giants, Cowboys and Bengals, possibly the Lions, but Caroline will have McCafferey back, and Davis didn't look shabby against the Falcons. They have a decent passing game, though their D is still suspect. To win all 6 (and any others) the O MUST play as well as or better than against Dallas.

I formerly had Carolina as a loss until last night. |

Trying to predict anything beyond the next game is pointless.

I thought you were on the tank train. Didn't you say that this team won't win because RR clearly has his eyes set on the draft? |

Thats a tad bit Monday morning quarterbackish. Since I was on the tank train Ill say this. RR had his eyes set on Trevor. That ship sailed, and it has become very apparent that there are a handful of teams who are equally as inept as we appeared to be. When you look at the remaining games it just so happens we play six against those inept teams. Wasn’t that apparent weeks ago. |

I know but it is boring not to try. Lol. |
Re: Around the NFL week 8
Ross wants out of Cindy. Worth a look? Adds another speedster, but he's not exactly produced to date. Could a change of scenery make the difference?

Nothing super ground-breaking here but Jason Wright does a weekly brief to connect with the fans. I thought it was interesting, he expanded a bit on the timetable for a new name. |

It shows a distinct difference to the previous culture of knee jerk or what we do works mentality. Get it right but don't over think it. |

I don't think RR ever had his eyes set on Trevor. I mean all NFL coaches understand he's probably the best player in next year's draft, potentially.. . And it's not MM quarterbacking. I said a couple weeks ago they could win 4 of the next 5 looking at the schedule, while the tank train was full steam ahead. NFL teams don't tank. |

Dwayne Haskins......... was good Sam Darnold ........was good Josh Rosen ..............was good .................in College. |
Re: Around the NFL week 8
Dwayne Haskins......... was good
Sam Darnold ........was good Josh Rosen ..............was good .................in College.
Well said. Those schools make the QB spot look otherworldly no matter who it is due to the talent around them and the competition they face. I'm super biased and have no real basis for my feelings but I would NEVER, NEVER, EVER take an Ohio State QB for any goddam reason. I was livid when we wasted that pick on Haskins and I'm even more angry about it now. |
Does he play for Ohio State?
He does? He's trash, just like every Ohio State QB ever.
First off my comment has nothing to do with pro potential. Second you simply can not compare Haskins to Fields. Or classify all QB's from one school. Two totally different players. Two different personalities. From all accounts Fields is a lot more mature than Haskins. He has better mobility. He looks every bit as good as Lawrence. |
Dwayne Haskins......... was good

My comment had nothing to do with pro potential. Just my observation. Fields is every bit as good as Lawrence. He will be a top 5 pick. |

If we could get Fields without trading up, I'd gladly take him. Agree, can't just eliminate all prospects forever from a college. |
