Punch's Post-Game Thread
That was brutal.
3 picks led to 3 Browns TDs. Our secondary sucks at run defense and our LBs can't flow outside. Rivera teaching the team how to be quitters back to back weeks. If he isn't going to try, why the fuck should I care about watching and supporting the team? Another year of suck. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Haskins is done with me.
|
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Haskins is bad. I mean like something I’ve never seen bad. Yeahhhh he doesn’t have a great oline but even when they did provide protection Haskins found a way to completely suck. But I feel like we’re stuck on this sinking ship until the bye week at least

Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Ron is content with losing, he knows Haskins is not the answer.
|
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
You should see growth. Staring down receivers, missing high, limited touch, etc.
For someone with such a strong arm, he doesn’t get the ball down field well. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
I'm not watching the game next week. I'll watch the Chargers vs Bucs game on cable TV out here. Going to lose by at least 3 TDs.
Haskins always makes 2-3 throws a game that are really impressive. The rest of the throws are just inaccurate garbage throws. Today he threw in 3 stare down INTs on top. Absolutely atrocious overall performance. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Yup. We're bad. Again. With no end in sight. Haskins is bad. Rivera is complacent. I really cant wait for the feud to start....because it will. That will be the most exciting part of the year.

Than bench him and remember you have 52 other players out there...there is tanking and quitting like a little bitch. Truthfully I dont think Ron is the answer either...culture change my ass. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Haskins and trubisky are the same QBs. Only difference is Mitch is a better athlete. Both are horrible with mechanics, both turn it over too often with horrible decisions and both are not accurate at all.

Seriously what was that crap at the end of the game? Is he trying to get Lawrencce? That is two weeks in a row. |

I think so , it looks that way to me. Also I believe Chase could have came back today, he was laughing around on the sideline after he came back out |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
DH basically lost the game for us today. No way he gets 16 games if this keeps up.

He won’t get any better man, he’s so inaccurate and he can’t read a defense for shit |

Best thing about this whole organization right now. Smoke show |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
For what it’s worth, I thought the Oline had their best game and in response to more time to throw, Haskins has his worse game

Groin so not so serious that he would be getting treatment, or sent to a hospital but Im not sure putting your franchise player back in the game and aggravating it would be wise. |

Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Positives:
Montez Sweat (one man wrecking crew) Isiah Wright (I like what I saw, I want more) AGG (same as Wright despite the drop) Christian (held his own, except for the Haskins fumble) Inman Thomas Negatives: Haskins Collins Kerrigan Hopkins Darby Ionnadis and Young getting hurt and leaving the game RR |
Punch's Post-Game Thread
The worst part about RR quitting and leaving Crapkins in is that there are three other teams in our division and two of them will be drafting ahead of us. Not that a 8-8 division winner is something to strive for but when you have been as bad as we have for so long I would take it...pussyboat Ron man. What a shame.

Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
I told y'all RR sucked. He's better than Jay Gruden. But he's definitely not on any level one of the top coaches. How do you not use some timeouts to at least give the team a chance to put up some more points? Why are you saving worthless time outs? It's not like we can carry them over into the next game. It's early so I'm going to give him a chance to see what he does. But thus far, I have not been impressed with RR.
Dwaynes Haskins might can develop into a decent back up one day. But I think at this point it's clear that he'll never be a top 15 qb. His accuracy is god awful. He misses wide open receivers on routine throws. Some of his ints today was a result of his inaccuracy. He stares down his wrs while the defense in zone which big no no. He can't read defenses. He is the main reason why we loss this game. He might develop into a decent back up one day. But it's clear to me at this point he's never going to be nothing more than a mediocre qb at best. It's time to start looking for a new qb in next years draft. I can't blame it all on Haskins. The oline is horrible. They not good run blocking or pass blocking. After week one I thought Scott Turner just had a shitty scheme. But it wouldn't matter who was coaching this team. The oline just sucks and it is as simple that. The defense gave us a chance to win even after losing Chase and Matt. But damn they couldn't stop the run to save their lives. They need to step up all around the board. Regardless of how bad the offense played, they still have a job to do. |

Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
I just need to mentally prepare for losing and Haskins starting the rest of the year. Start my draft pick status countdown especially early this year.
|
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
I should know better than to come in here with the knee-jerk reaction yet here I am.
Haskins is terrible, if it isn't obvious. All the progress he made at the end of last year has been wiped out. He just looks uncomfortable, like he's trying to learn how to play qb for the first time. Trying to do too much. The staring down guys thing - idk how it became an issue this week but if he keeps that up his leash will disappear. At the same time we have to give him at least half the year if not the entire year to at least try and show some progress. If Allen was the answer, we wouldn't even have to ask this question. Rivera knows what he has in Allen. Rivera - I just feel like he's treating these first 4 games like preseason since we didn't have one. It's why he keeps swapping out young guys and not calling timeouts at the end of the game. He already knows the weak spots on this team and I feel like he's just looking for progress. If he's still giving up when we're down by 11 in the second half of the season then I'll be seriously concerned. But for now I feel he's using these games to get a feel for the team. Or maybe the cancer treatments are affecting his judgement? Not sure but he absolutely has a long leash, certainly longer than Haskins. You guys giving up on him 3 games in are taking the easy route. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Sad part is that was a game we should have won, looking at the schedule , I’d say we win 3 more games tops
|
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
giving up like that is a fireable offense immediately promote Jack del Rio to be the head coach Ron Rivera has to go I don't give a f*** if he's battling cancer or not great Haskins also needs to be benched immediately... Not mediately.... EEEEE .... mediately

That's a bit too far man. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Yeah we are all frustrated but no need to talk about cancer. The team sucks guys it is what it is
|
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
Haskins' accuracy is terrible.
Bench him. He isn't the guy. Gah, I hope this isn't the RGIII situation all over again where everybody knows but Dan. (Really high likelihood, RR is playing Haskins to convince Dan of the situation, just like Mike and Jay did with Robert.) If Haskin's gives the team the best chance to win this is going to be a throw away year. They should have went after Fitzmagic or Nick Foles or some journeyman who can throw on schedule and actually hit receivers. I can't wait to see which QB Dan drafts next. |
Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
CY said it’s nothing major and he’ll be back

Re: Punch's Post-Game Thread
I just want to know what is the obsession with forcing the ball at times to Logan Thomas like he is prime Rob Gronkowski.
