Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
As we all expected, the Skins lost. The question remains will Snyder make the necessary moves, including removing BA, JG and stepping out of the process completely
Until that happens, we will just be the laughingstock of the nfl. Thats all my thoughts other than pure disgust. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |
Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
We might improve a little if Gruden is fired after today, but does it matter in an ultimately meaningless season? No. Haskins might learn something if we play him, but will it help when we bring in a new HC next year? Probably not.
There's only one long term solution that would stop the decades-long decline. #firebruce |
Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
The whole offense was one big play and a whole lot of burning garbage.

Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
In my opinion Snyder should do the fanbase a great service and sale it.....while Allen and Gruden are major problems Snyder is the biggest problem.

Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
You know, I want to be optimistic. I think we have a real opportunity for the rest of the season. If the fanbase mobilizes the hand-made signs at the games, maybe we could pull an '09 Vinny on Bruce. We just need to voice our displeasure with Bruce. Make it so overwhelming Dan can't ignore us. Get the #firebruce chants going at every home game.

Colt passed for 119 yards. How is that possible in today's NFL?

Almost makes me want Case back. |
Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
More importantly how are the Skins able to defy the cosmos?
|
Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
Time to start Haskins and hope he’s not killed. I thought Roullier was supposed to play? I guess not. My sole star of the game was Tim Settle, loved his bullrush that took out the NE G and sacked Brady, then was held on another play were they called a penalty and took down Karras.
|
Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
I'm glad Haskins didn't play, the Pats D is legit and would have killed the kid. Mccoy played because that is Jays boy and he's going out his way.
The D played well to be honest , until they just couldn't hold off any longer. 0-5 what a time to be alive |
Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
That bullrush where he put the Pats RT on his ass before sacking Brady was the non-Steven Sims highlight of the game. Holy hell I wish he could do that every game.

The Dolphins is the perfect 1st game for the O'Connell/Haskins era to begin.

I agree but that is probably to good to be true, we'll keep Jay and colt and go 0-6 |

He’s trash. He’s the worst fuckin QB on staff...yet Jays choice to play. This is a fireable offense for general incompetence |

if Jay is not fired tonight I'd be surprised

Heard Snyder and Allen peaced out immediately after the game. Usually they hang around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Look at the numbers Gardner Minshew put up today...we took the wrong QB.
Fuck man...it’s laughable |
Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
Sounds like an announcement may have been made internally about Jay’s future.

Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
Just my thoughts.
The difference between the first half and second half is New England made adjustments at halftime and ran the ball. The skins played 3 safeties and 4 DB in the first half. When New England switched to running the ball we never switched personal. |
Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
I really like CT. Can you imagine how much better he'd be if he was on a team like the Pats? I honestly feel bad for him.

He was actually rushing Brady with 3 guys. He had Sweat and slow ass Kerrigan in coverage. He had Anderson on Boldin for that TD. That is just pathetic on so many levels. |

If that isn't the writing on the wall idk what is. Speaking of CT he hasn't looked the same this year, idk if he's lost a step since his brutal broken leg two years ago or if we're not utilizing him properly. But if he moves on I hope he signs with a winning team. |

Love this quote by AP:
Adrian Peterson on the Pats' D: "They showed a lot of exotic stuff on film, but against us they didn't really. It was like, hey sit back there and allow us to mess up." Lololol...jay gruden offense |

He left with Snyder after the game, if Snyder was even considering firing Allen why would they leave together? At this point I'm starting to wonder if our best chance is Allen being demoted to run business side only (aka-build the new stadium) and Snyder brings in a new guy or promotes Kyle Smith to run the football side. |

Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
SOMEONE has to get fired tonight or tomorrow to show accountability.
Think about how bad things are going. The Skins are definitely trending downward: worst start since 2001 significant drop in stadium attendance by home-team fans, and attendance in general declining TV ratings declining merchandise sales And all of this is compounded by the fact that no matter how poorly we are on the field, there is no accountability. Bruce Allen has not yet been fired despite posting a worse Win / Loss ratio than Vinny. Jay Gruden could go 0-16 this year and other than chatter on twitter, we seem to have no serious news that he will be terminated. In fact some have even said that he will return for the final year of his contract, albeit with a new DC. If something is not done, the skins are running the risk of having some fans abandon the brand never to return. And they should care about the younger generation fans. If they cannot keep those fans, then i feel the franchise is irreparably doomed. |

Jay Gruden is a top 5 coach in redskins history. There are only two that are significantly better.
Jay Gruden is a top 5 coach in redskins history. There are only two that are significantly better.
We have had a ton of them, especially in the last 20 years. Just because this numb nutz has had the good grace not to lose his job for several years makes him a top 5 nothing. There are 17 head coaches in Skins history with a better win loss percentage. Gruden is top 5 in games coached that is about it. He flat out sucks. |
Re: Skins Pats Postgame: Skins curse beats Numerology odds
I have no anger toward Gruden. I accept he has to go, but he was asked to coach the most dysfunctional team in sports. The front office didn’t support him and in fact often sabotaged him. He had class and for the most part kept the locker room together despite the overwhelming challenges.
And it is worth mentioning that if anyone thinks the team will be better off with the next coach, you haven’t been paying attention to the last twenty years. |
