Mets are like the Skins when it comes to injuries the past couple of seasons, can't catch a break

Re: 2019 mlb
Pete Alonso is lighting it up right now for the Mets....my general feeling in the NL East...is anybody but the effing Phillies.

Re: 2019 mlb
Nats just aren't playing up to their potential. Turner hurt, but their some other not pulling their weight. Dozier has been god-awful.
Poor coaching and Front office management. |

Poor coaching and Front office management.
Mhm. Only games we win are 10-8 clusterfucks. Idk if we need to blame Davey or Rizzo for the bullpen but it's an absolute shitstain right now. There isn't a single thing the Nats are doing right now that inspires confidence down the road. |

The nats bullpen is a fucking disgrace.

Go Braves!! Needed a win against Nats. 1-3 now, should've been 0-4. Weird game. And that was terrible bullpen work. Nothing is more frustrating as a fan. Braves had had plenty of bad bullpenning too this season. That one dude came in and walked all 3 guys. |

Yeah I’m a braves fan, but that pen in dc is the worst in the league. Trevor Rosenthal is the worst pitcher in the league |
Re: 2019 mlb
That one dude is Trevor Rosenthal. A well known name who used to be a quality pitcher.
Key words used to be. That one out he got in the first game inspired confidence. Boy how quickly that confidence can erode. Martinez should've given him the hook way earlier. I feel bad for Rosenthal but he's got to go. You can't wait for him to rediscover himself at this stage of the season. S/N even though our bullpen has been better as of late, I always get scared when we have a lead and the 8th inning starts. The Nats need a setup guy in the worrrrrrrrrrrrst way. |

Who's got the hotter bullpen mess right now the Mets or Nats

Ha...that shit today was an utter meltdown. Great job Mets |
Re: 2019 mlb
I'd say the Mets, but only because the Nats really did some addition by subtraction with the release of Trevor Rosenthal. What a fall from grace for him.

I cannot even imagine what it must be like. Lol. It is worse than hating the Patriots or Lakers or Penguins. Thank God I am a fan. There are enough things in this world that already make my blood boil. Heading to the Phish show rite now though and I know you root for them. [emoji869] |

Heading to the Phish show rite now though and I know you root for them. [emoji869]
Its weird, I've never hated the Yankees, and as a Braves fan I could. Now my hate is so focused on all Boston teams, I actually want Yankees to win the division just so Sox don't. Boston wants to be seen as just as important as NYC (as cities, not just sports), that a way too high % of people from Boston over compensate, and constantly act like complete D bags. We get a lot of their transplants in SD, and a good chunk of them are insufferable. |

Think that you either love to hate Boston/NY Yankees or are for them!

Re: 2019 mlb
C'mon National League, for fuck sake. Absolutely pathetic losing the all star game all the time.

Re: 2019 mlb
Are the balls juiced like the pitchers say or not as the commissionaire says? Colin Cowherd says the increase in homers is just do to more guys swinging for the fences at the cost of increased strikeouts. He likens it to NBA players jacking up a lot more 3's than they used to.

10 out of 11 is impressive in the NFL not MLB. Lol. Two weeks from now the Mets fans will be crying again.... I don’t even hate the Mets but every year their fans go on this roller coaster ride. They act like they are worse off than they are when times are hard, and like they are waaaaay better than they are when times are good. Stay medium Mets fans. |

As a Yankee fan I have absolutely no hatred of the Mets. Why would I? Lol. They pose absolutely no threat of unseating the Yankees as New Yorks team, and We play them a few times every year. I simply think it is remarkable that their fan base who talks more trash about them every year (much more than any Yankee fan) gets so head over heels whenever they show a heartbeat. Especially in this case when they literally went on a run against the three worst teams in the league. But hey lets go mets go! |

It was against the three last place teams in the NL and the White Sox. 11 under to 3 over = shitty to mediocre. Im gonna stop now because I truly do not hate the Mets. I hate the Redsox. I have never hated the Mets. I am being 100% subjective. Not a fan. Not a hater. If i look at their recent winning ways I see a team who took advantage of three borderline AAA teams. Thats all. |

Great win by the Mets tonight. The ToddFather comes up huge. You guys own the Nats though. Your true test will be beating the hated Braves down the stretch. But big time win tonight.

Polar Bear > any Yankee player
|
Re: 2019 mlb
Aside from a magical Stanley Cup run for the Caps, the Nats last night did a typical DC move, losing in the worst way possible. I put it half on Doolittle for having a bad night and half on Martinez for not yanking him after he blew the save. Martinez is starting to trend in a bad way of making bad decisions at the worst possible times.

I imagine everyone picking Houston now after they got Grinke. At this point, I'd be surprised if it wasn't Houston, Yankees, or Dodgers.
