Around the NFL Week 3

For the first time in his career RW has a bottom 5 supporting cast and an avg defense. He's having to carry the load and that's tough to do without a line. I do see them beating Dallas at home though. |

An offensive line that allows 12 sacks in 2 weeks? Have you seen the Dallas pass rush? I give them a better than average chance. |

Your defense, especially the D-Line, is good...I think yall kill the Hawks. But with Seattle, you gotta withhold the Russell Wilson assault that usually starts around the end of 3rd Quarter...that's when he takes over. If you can manage that its a W. |

I am an Eli guy and I do believe he got screwed over big time last year,he deserves this year but that's it,he has to perform better.I am all for the Giants pursuing Russel Wilson next year if Eli tanks this year. |

I think Eli knows he's done. He's accomplished a lot in his career. Two Super Bowl victories, both against the Patriots, NFC East championships, playoff wins, etc...he's done very well for himself. |

Eli can't escape the rush at all. Plus he has the worst case of happy feet. And since the oline is terrible they'd be better off putting in someone .more mobile. The Eli era is over. |

Eli has nothing more to prove. His resume writes itself, 2 Super Bowl Rings, 2 Super Bowl MVPs. `Nuff said. The front office did nothing to surround Eli with the help he needs. The offensive line is patchwork at best and singing Nate Solder was not the answer. Flowers is a walking-talking turnstile. Take a look at any other team not named the New York Giants. If you were to say you had OBJ and Saquan as weapons, and guys like Vernon on defense, you should be favored going into most games. There is not enough protection up front. In week 1, Saquan had 106 on 18 carries and averaged almost 6 ypc. But 68 of those came on one TD run. Take that run away and he has only 48 yards on 17 carries and 2.8 ypc. Which is close to his average in week 2 at 2.5 ypc. Cannot blame any of that on Eli. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Typical Skins management answer on the Beer Vendor dispute: It has nothing to with us. It will, Tony, when people can no longer get a beer at Skins games. That will lead to even more empty seats at Fedex Field.

Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Cleveland browns are going to win tonight!!
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
In their dreams they may win but really let's be honest! Maybe not.

The way the Browns o-line is playing, Tyrod Taylor may retire by halftime.

I doubt people will stop going to the Skins becuase of "beer vendors" striking. I like beer but I don't think they need it at games. They stop selling it after the 3rd quarter at Met Life in NJ .The NFL will never give that money up but I don't think it's needed at a game.(JMO) |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Why are the Browns messing around w/ Tyrod? He is a backup at best.

I was just about to say the same thing. I know their OL isn’t helping at all but stop dicking around with Taylor and put in your #1 pick. Even when he’s got guys open he can’t hit them. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Taylor just won’t pull the trigger, man he’s terrible
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Yea they don’t look very good ... I always kinda liked the browns but geez ...

Re: Around the NFL Week 3
There’s a lot of praise for Spencer Long.
I guess coaching helps. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Browns could be 3-0 if they had any kicker in the world besides the one they had. Hat tip to Hue Jackson so far.

And Dorsey. They have some superstars stepping up. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
Did you see the excitement and the energy the Browns and their fans had once Mayfied got in the game? That shit was electric. They're my 2nd favorite team this year. If any fanbase deserves a winner it's them.

Re: Around the NFL Week 3
The coach of the browns is a complete idiot !!! When asked who would be the starter next week he said ....I need to watch the tape.... !!! The browns have a QB now they need a coach.

He has to say that out of respect to Taylor. Everyone knows Mayfield is going to start. He was the freakin number one pick in the draft and played his ass off last night. |

Stop, that was "Coach speak" for you know what is going to happen I just don't want to fuck it up like the Giants did last year. After watching Hard Knocks I admit I like Hue Jackson ,it would be nice to see him do well. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
And... That's why I was so high on Baker not just for the OU connection.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 3
wish this happened week 1 when i was at the game lol but good for the browns, my best friend is a die hard - he's suffered enough along with the rest of the fan base. Kudos and hope they win over 4.5 games this year lollllll

Re: Around the NFL Week 3
The Browns deserved it. Their young. Their hungry. They're fighting. You knew it was going to happen eventually.

The type that doesn’t give a shit To last sentence of the article...it actually validates the opposite.... argument of people are watching less tv, reduction in ratings was a norm, etc. was false. If you notice this year... less protest, less coverage of protest ...more people watching football? Pretty much |
