Pierre might as well get the surgery if he is having any questions about it.
i agree, if the recovery is projected to be long. if it's only a short few months, go ahead and wait. get it done as late as february and possibly be ready for otas.

what is the projected recovery time for this kind of surgery?

skinsfaninok 11-07-2012 02:06 PM

Yeah I thought PG was going to catch 90 passes this year...

The good news..... we don't lose this week.

Ok, We are 3-6 right now here's my take on the rest of our season:

WEEK:

11. Eagles: Win (4-6)
12. Dallas: Loss (4-7)
13: Giants: Loss (4-8)
14. Ravens: Loss (4-9)
15. Browns: Loss (4-10)
16. Eagles: Win (6-10)

At the beginning of the season I would have said we would win both Dallas games but now we might win one. At the beginning of the season I would have said we would beat the Browns but now I don't think so. I hope we can split with the Giants but I don't see that happening.

LOL. you know what I had that on my page then some how wrote my comment prior to that. In any event I have us splitting with Dallas. Hopefully. I'll be estatic if we win both Dallas games which is possible if Dallas comes out laying an egg, the Giants are possible if the fans make it difficult for Eli and for whatever reason they lay an egg and the Skins step up, I even think the Browns could be possible but they have played some games very well.

skinsfaninok 11-07-2012 08:31 PM

Looking at that schedule I'd be happy beating Dallas in Dallas and at home and I'll be good. 6-10 at best imo

Report: Jon Gruden eyeing a return to coaching
Former Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden might be eyeing a return to coaching, Charlie Campbell of Walterfootball reports. Sources around him have shared that he is looking into different assistant coaches around the league and seeing what their potential availability will be after the 2012 season.

Assistant coaches mentioned are fired Eagles defensive coordinator Juan Castillo and special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia.

Sources have said that Gruden's return to coaching is dependent on it being a perfect situation. He isn't interested in smaller-market teams like those he has coached at previously. Gruden wants a big-market team with good ownership and some talent on the roster. Thus, teams like Dallas, Philadelphia and the New York Jets could be potential landing spots if they make a change.
skinsfaninok 11-08-2012 01:25 PM

Washington is a big market and we have RG3..

I would say RG3 has changed. I think Gruden might salivate at that potential. Also, Snyder has shown the ability (twice now) to stay behind the scenes when he trusts the GM/HC. He did it with Gibbs, and he has been doing it excellently with MS/BA. While I support keeping MS, I would be good with bringing in JG if the option opened up and MS/KS went away not griping about the Skins organization.

Not really, we would be in the same boat. Without McKay and Dungy's team, Gruden would have NEVER won shit. Even then, he didn't even get close to getting back to the SB. After that defense aged, his teams sucked and it was most definitely Gruden responsible for the personnel. People simply are propping Gruden to be something he really isn't. Being a great TV analyst doesn't make him a great personnel guy or coach.

Would rather have Jay Gruden.

Wouldn't object to Jay Gruden (didn't say I would). As for John, again without googling or wikipedia'ing that sh**, wasn't Tampa an issue because the owner was a tightwad? That's one reason I think the Skins would be appealing to him, finally have a qb, lt, and some youth, with an owner who will spend what is needed.
