Ugly all around. WRs sucked this game. The defense didn't even bother showing up. I can't wait to see the cleaning house that defense is going to get in the off season. I don't think anyone really deserves to be here except Kerrigan and Fletcher (and even he didn't play that great).

It's hard out here for a Skins fan.

Overall we finally got that game from the skins that we all saw last year. Anyone who thinks we r a playoff team is crazy. I swear if it wasn't for griff we may be 1-7 or 0-8.

Our defense is awful. Our best defender today was a referee. Hall better not be here next year. On to the lonely panthers.

Shanahan has no leadership period. We can b*tch all we want about Hall, but MS has allowed this to happen. Keim said it best last week, the secondary has no leadership and everyone lets Hall do whatever he wants.

Where is all this so called discipline that was talked about during the Haynesworth debacle? There is none in my opinion.

It is pretty obvious how much this offense misses Pierre and Davis, and how much this defense misses Rak and Carrigan...However, this team will never be a contender unless we shore up the secondary.

That was a pretty pitiful overall performance to say the least. I think we touched Big Ben twice the entire game maybe...not going to get it done.

Matty, you said to replace D hall next year with either the best FA available or a rookie in the other thread. I agree that the secondary needs to be revamped but it makes more sense to only replace d hall if you have an UPGRADE. To automatically replace any one without the replacement being an upgrade is a mistake

I dunno, young teams never benefit from that in the locker room. More important to lose the right way, then have that guy rub off on young players.

1. So much for them being old. They're simply better than we are. Better players, better coaches and better front office.
2.I've seen enough of Haslett, they can just fire him tomorrow. Why didn't he at least mix up some blitzes today? Just try something. He did nothing but sit there w/ that stupid look on his face. He needs to go and go now. Enough!
3.Kyle..stop trying to be so damn cute w/ all the trickeration. That shit doesn't work against a D like Pitt.Also, are we not capable of a hurry up offense? WTF were you thinking? Piss poor coaching.
4. Fletcher looked old today. We had better have a replacement ready next year.
5. The guys on the D-line CAN NOT push the pocket. Cofield, Bowen, Jenkins.. where are you w/ the pass rush?

Just another game in the Shanny regime where the team showed up completely unprepared. Horrible job by everybody..players & coaches. no fire out there, which is really disappointing

Agree. Not only Hall, but Doughty, M Williams, C Griffin, Gomes. The entire Secondary is crap. its just brutal to watch.

Saw a few big issues here.

1) Secondary is terrible.
2) We have no pass rush -- manufactured through blitzes or from our rushers.
3) I know I'm going to be killed for this, but it's time to start rotating Feltcher out. He was a liability all day. He had one great play, and a lot of straight up bad ones.
4) Drops were terrible. I can see maybe 2-3 of them being at least partially on Griff. One was very smart, when Young was behind the line with Steelers around and he let it hit him and fall to the ground. Save clock/etc.
5) We had no urgency late. Tick Tock.

Overall a bad day.

As bad as the secondary is the pass rush is almost as worse. No pass rush= no pass defense.

The pressure is starting to build on Mike and Bruce. It's been 3 years and the team overall isn't showing much of a change in any of the three years. ROBERT GRIFFIN III. literally is the only bright spot and I will give the shannys credit for helping Griffin become so great so early but again nothing has changed in the win column. Another 6 wins on pace for this year.

It's not that our defense got outplayed. They got out schemed. We weren't just blowing assignments and stuff. They were getting gains via scheming. I gotta believe that our defense can at least be prepared better. Not a big fan or=f blaming the coaching but seriously we were totally inept on defense. Who's that on?

i hope you are right but i dont think so - hall is #1 or #2 cb on THIS team right now so to replace him you would need two corners who are better to make him #3, more than that to release him

The Steelers ran the same bullshit offense they run [B]everytime[/B] i watch them. Yet it looked like we've never seen this on tape. Give me an effing break, guys were running free all day.

Hall is the WORST CB on this team. He is close to the worst in the league. I would literally cut him tonight and replace him with a PS player. He isn't good at all...hasn't been.

Frustration!

Across the board terrible game. Bad play calls. Bad exicution. Bad passing (not accurate). Bad receiving (couldn't catch anything today). Defense...nough said. The horrible part is they are not making any moves or strides towards fixing the defense. No cutting bad performance. No firing for bad leadership. No bringing in new or better talent.
