Skins vs. Steelers Predictions
 

Well it's Thursday and there's no prediction thread. Let's hear em.

We'll beat Pittsburgh. Our D has been improving over the last 3 games and honestly, they played a good game until that last pass by Eli. Before that play, we held Cruz to 54 yards, Nicks to 53 and Bradshaw had only run for 43 yards on the day. We're playing better, we just need to stop giving up random big plays.

The Steelers have a lot of injury issues too and aren't what they used to be on either side of the ball. They're down to their 3rd-string RB and missing some key defensive players. We can definitely outscore them.

No Troy P. Makes me feel better about this game, Ben scares me though and so does brown and Wallace. I don't see any one getting blown out , Griffin should have a solid game again and I'm leaning towards us in an upset.

26-23 skins in a dogfight.

Morris has 90 yards on 18 carries

Griffin scores 2 tds on the ground. And one passing TD. No TOs.

Pittsburgh has won 9/10 at Heinz Field but the Redskins have played well on the road all year and been in every game they've played. Big Ben is a great quarterback, greater than Eli Manning in my opinion. If the Redskins secondary take away his options he'll just dump it to the TE and FB the whole game but still manage to hit his WRs here and there. Alfred Morris doesn't run for 100 yards in this game but RG3 does.

Pretty much the ususal...We won't be able to stop Wallace, Brown and Miller. Ben will have all day to throw.

I love the Skins, but...to pick them to beat the Steelers IN PITTSBURGH...thats almost laughable...will be the first to "eat crow" if we shock the world and win, but us beating them on their field, ain't happening...teams like the Steelers protect their home turf. We are not ready to win in Pittsburgh, not yet...

This game will be ugly and out of reach early.

They do protect their home field. But I will be very surprised if we only score 14. They're defense seems to be slow now and they're vunerable in the secondary. I know it was a road game but they lost to Oakland. lol.

Skins are salty from losing to the Gmen, they force some turnovers, do fairly well on the two great WRs. If Tebow can beat the steelers, so can RG3.

I agree and think the Redskins will win in Steeltown 24-21 with a 51 yd FG and NO TIME left on the clock (thank God).

This game most likely is going to come down to the final drive,as it seems most skins games do.If Pitt has the ball at end needing a score its a 90 percent chance of loss.If we need a score to win,with RG3 theres probably a 90 percent chance of a win.Hell,if Moss doesnt fumble I think RG3 would have pulled a win out last week,that guy is amazing.

I agree, we have the more talented roster. But talent doesn't always translate into a win.

What are you talking about? Winning on the road is what we do. It's the home games we lose.

Gotta agree with you. I see this being RGIII's first bad outing' Pittsburgh defense is much better than the Giants.

Remember they lost to TN and OAK. Sure it was away, but away games are like home games for the Steelers anyway.

We are better (overall as a team - due to our offense - I dont need to hear that our D is improved???? say what???? - i know.)than last year, they are not. As with any Skins game though for the last several years, it doesnt matter who we are playing or where. It will come down to the final two minutes. Buckle up time again.

Definitely. I don't think we blow them out, but until someone figures out how to at least "slow" our offense, we'll keep it close. I mean so far this year, no one has had a single answer to RG3.
