Goat/s of the game is Williams and Wilson. Do everything right until the last handful of minutes and then have it all fall apart. Disgusting.

Serious problem with penalties and turnovers today. I mean, serious. That ship needs to be rightened by next week.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

6 turnovers. ugh.

At least that should be more correctable than getting flat-out outplayed.

edit: we had 4 turnovers. felt like 6.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

RG3 and the offense lost this game in the end. They turned the ball over way too much. Defense gave them the ball back plenty of times. Huge blunder by the D at the end though, terrible playcalling by Haz.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

Damn turnovers and that big play to Cruz. That call on Polumbus earlier in the game may have bitten us some too. RG3 continues to amaze.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

Good: Played well enough to win, Our new kicker rox, Alfmo, Rob Jackson was awesome

Bad:

1. Wilson and M Williams ****ed us
2. Numerous stupid penalties ****ed us or end up getting a player injuried
3. Worst playcall all time was the option to Niles ****ing Paul on 3rd down
4. Horrible fumbles by Moss, RG3 and Morris
5. God damn injury bug

Heartbrraking way to lose this game.... refs were bad, d was decent until it mattered as usual and i cant fathom why Williams was standing still while cruz ran by.... turnovers killed us.... settling for FGs killed us

Evilgrin 10-21-2012 04:10 PM

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

Lol, they barely beat us with 4 turnovers and a gift td reversal from the refs.

BleedBurgundy 10-21-2012 04:10 PM

I hate our secondary.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

How do they not have 2 safeties all the back?????? That was absolutely poor play calling or missed assignment. With the deep threats the Giants have......... HOW????

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

I hate the Giants plain and simple and they received a GIFT today ! from A. The Refs and B. The turnovers. SUCKS!!

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

Cant believe the defense played well all day until the one time we needed it most. Really disgusted with the Cruz catch, good teams dont let that happen.

Gtothearry 10-21-2012 04:11 PM

Only positive is that we could've easily beat the best team in the NFL.

RG3 did what he was asked to do....the defense gave up the play that killed the momentum.

Sucks indeed.

punch it in 10-21-2012 04:12 PM

Bad:

HASLETT's piss poor inability to keep the defense behind cruz.

So with the possibility of Davis being gone does Cooley come back now?

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

This one is tough to take. But did anyone really trust our defense when NY got the ball back at the end? But I'll give them some credit. They get turnovers to make up for their awful play. The two biggest plays of the game was that leg whip dog shit call, and the illegal shift. I didn't see anything on either call. And I hate to call out the refs but those two calls sucked shit and perhaps costed us the game.

I hope I either see a replay, or someone on the board can breakdown that play, because all I saw was 3 Redskins behind Cruz. Either that play call was REALLY terrible, our secondary is about as good as a bunch of monkeys in uniforms.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

Great game, with all of the turnovers and the injuries we did well against the Gaints. No turnovers we blow them out. Williams needs to learn from that misake. RGIII needs to take better care, it was like he would have lapses in judgement,, still the will prove to be the best rookie of all time.

RG3 threw a horrible pick and fumbled the ball. This was an entire team loss, lots of blame to go around.

Gtothearry 10-21-2012 04:14 PM

The illegal motion cost us 4 points.

Bummer of a finish, another game that we could have won but fell just short. Yea, that was a pretty pathetic final minute though.

Pauleson played great coming into for Fred Davis. Just really impressed with his effort. Niles Paul is ****ing garbage. Sign Cooley if Davis is out long term

2 safeties were there but williams thought it was more important to defend the short pass than the deep pass and let cruz get behind him in that situation

I don't know how we did not have a player deep on that play.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

You don't win away games with that many turnovers and key penalties. That is really the bottom line.

Whoever is saying RG3 lost this, COME ON NOW. We wouldn't have even been IN it without him. We'll get them next time. The only thing that really pissed me off was stupid goofy ****ing Pierre-Paul running his mouth. I wanted his ass shut down and he kind of was in the run game.

I would say no with the cap peanlty that we have..... Love Chris, but they have to look forward. They need all the money they can get their hands on to shore up the very poor secondary. Just my 2 cents...

That fumble hurt. Would've been nice to see what RG3 could've done at the end. We were driving.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

Redskins get 23 points. Thats exactly what I expected. Actually I gave them 24 in the prediction thread. Giants did not play as well as I expected. Redskins have a long way to go. They are a better team than they were last year but as I said before, thats only because of RG3. Other than that, they are (I hate to say it) The same ol Redskins that "find a way to lose"...

It was super disappointing, but the Pats have let Eli's Giants do that to them in two Super Bowls. Skins played well but beat themselves.

Wonder if it would've made a difference if Meriweather was playing.
