[font=Garamond][size=3][color=darkred]I noticed that Skins Canes changed his Avatar, so I asked him how. He said it was because he finish in the top 2 of the fantasy league. Please let us all change our Avatars, I really do not like the Morton one as he was rude to my kids during a autograph sesion, for no apparent reason. Some fan around us called him on it and he got up and left, quite childish. Other forums with other teams allow you to choose your own, so if it is not to much trouble PLEASE can we change our own?[/color][/size][/font]

Matty,

Please don't let us change our avatars. I don't want the site uglied up and slowed down by tons of unique avatars. Special people because of donations, fantasy, special contributions, etc should get special avatars. Otherwise, keep it how it is.

matty did mention that the avatars will be changed sometime during the off-season. i'm sorry that Morton is a punk-ass jerk who won't have a job much longer with the Skins, but give it some time. it will change. or you can throw in a few more posts here and there. i had that damn blue cap forever, even though i would look at the site every day. you could always block the avatars if it upsets you that much.

and i agree, i like the conformity of how they are all the same size...

if you want, you can turn the avatars off if it bothers you that much, from the Control Panel..

CRT3, just like Bohnzie said throw in a few more posts (183) and you can have Sean Taylor as your avatar.

If you need help, just ask Malcolm. I think he's already surpassed me in posts and he's only been here for a couple of months! Just kidding Malcolm :)

Maybe a comprimise is to have a couple avatars for each level so a user could choose. That way there is control over what avatars are used and the users get some choice.

Im sure Matty will change the first couple of avatars everyyear. After all we do have new '1st round draft choice' and new camp scrubs everyyear. BUT, Im almost looking forward to see what player is wearing teh blue hat this year. I think by default you should always start out with the blue hat and just have the scrub change everyyear.

As a side note Matty, all the buttons still have the original background colors on it. I dont know if you just havent had the chance to update it or if it just slipped through the cracks. Let me know if you need anyhelp with that stuff.

Just somthing that I would love to see, but this is your site and you know what works best as the Moderator.

For those who don't like the avatar setup simply cut to length a piece of duct tape, apply to monitor when reading this site and remove when you log out.

Matty answered it and that is all that is needed. I will disable my Avatar as the mere thought of continuing with Mr. Morton is repulsive.

I know exactly what you mean Daseal.........I also post on a basketball website.......and they allow you to make your own avatar.........and it's completely OUT OF CONTROL.............film clips, grotesque, obnoxious images, and political fare really TRASHES up the site.........That's why this site is MY FAVORITE forum.........with good, intelligent, witty, conversation knowledge fans just talking about our favorite team..........Its what a forum should be! The avatars are fine.

But you can post any picture or clip you like on each and every post. This to can be disruptive, if you look at my last few post I can very easily do this so why not just give everybody a set number of Avatars to choose from.

Although the picture is great.............yes this kind of thing can be very disruptive......I prefer the lean and clean look

CRT3 - no need to be annoying. It's an AVATAR. Jesus - it means nothing. We don't look at your avatar and say... well.. he must be a chad morton fan!

I suggest you stop posting pictures like that before matty takes away the privellage from all of us.

I didnt even think we could post pictures in posts, which is somethign most of us enjoyed. That way everything was limited to discussions. Its better to have a link to the pic, we are all capable of clicking a link. Theres only two pictures in this thread and its really annoying already, it makes it so much longer and harder to read.

Just want to add some originality to it all. Will watch the abuse on the photos, just experimenting, sorry. But I also do not think special privlages should be given to a select few, no offense Skins Canes.

It wasn't really special privileges, Canes' prize for finishing second was his own avatar.

Believe me, I did everything I could to keep that from happening....but damn that Corey Dillon and his 4th quarter TD in the season finale, kept me from getting second in the warpath fantasy league, but I digress
