I must say, Jim is a funny ass dude.. Every time I heard the guy after a game I wanted to start laughing Win Or Lose lol.. On a serious note, the guy has done a good job with Flacco. |

It's not his fault that Ravens approved of the design. He's just doing it for the team. :D

Re: Jim Zorn is ****ing Goofy! LOL

JZ is a silly bastard........I like that about him

Re: Jim Zorn is ****ing Goofy! LOL
i think every team has apparel with that hideous tye dye/camo hybrid background this year. def not zorn's fault. plus those hats with the logo + name in big letters behind it, ugh. and i thought that pixelated fade trend last year was bad...

Re: Jim Zorn is ****ing Goofy! LOL
That camo look is awful, I guess most teams are wearing it this year on the sidelines including us
JZ is a silly bastard........I like that about him
This and this. I admire Zorn for his honesty, for his refreshing relative lack of self-consciousness, and for his Seattle-style trendiness. |

bigtime +1 i've actually grown gained appreciation for both his coaching and his ability to tolerate the chaos that must have occured behind the scenes in Ashburn Zorn had less talent less support from the FO a younger less experienced coaching staff that was largerly leftover from a regime that ran a different system Yet his passing offense was better in the 2 most important areas 3rd down and RZ and that's with Jason Campbell at QB and Levi Jones and an injured Stephon Heyer as bookend tackles) |

Both were put into ridiculously difficult positions. I'm not saying both didn't make problems as well, and both seemed unfit to lead an nfl team. But both guys could design an offense & I think could've been or can be O coordinators in the nfl. Spurrier actually had his team 3-1 & moving the ball well w/Ramsey in 03. It didn't take long for it to fall apart, but if he'd become the Colts o coordinator would his system have failed? Despite the risk involved for the qb I think w/good personel he would score a lot. Zorn had things going for half a season, but eventually good game planning gets figured out & if you don't have the personel to adapt you're screwed. He never should've been a head coach, but like others have said here, he's a stand up guy & he was dealt a pretty tough hand. |

Re: Jim Zorn is ****ing Goofy! LOL
Actualy, Zorn looks better than Belicheat. Zorn's shirt doesn't look like he hacked off the sleeves with left-handed kids' scissors.
Jim's a funny guy. |
Re: Jim Zorn is ****ing Goofy! LOL
I sure did want Jim Zorn to be the man. Another let down, he's lovin life though in Baltimore though, he could very possibly get a ring this year

It's almost as bad as the zebra print pants they wore in the early 90's! |

Zorn actually did pass downfield his 1st season and part of his second season. He ran a very traditional WCO w/ 3, 5 and 7 step drops. I don't believe it was possible to pass downfield with Levi Jones and an injured Stephon Heyer as bookends and Zorn rightly made the correct adjustements. (I distinctly remember the Panthers game when Campbell got tackled from behind with no blitz doing the fake on a play-action pass as the end of the 5 step and beginning of the 3 step passing offense) And Zorn's offense found away to control the clock and convert 3rd downs and was better in the RZ don't you agree that those are important areas? Zorn's offense isn't unlike what the Ram's offense does w/ Bradford. |
Re: Jim Zorn is ****ing Goofy! LOL
He may be goofy, but he's most definitely having the last laugh when it comes to the Redskins. Which ship would you rather be on? The surging Ravens or the bottomed out Redskins?

Lmao! I got those for XMas when I was like 7 haha those were classic |
Re: Jim Zorn is ****ing Goofy! LOL
At least Zorn looks better in the shirt than that kid model. He looks like he is Tom Brady and Justin Bieber's lovechild.

Re: Jim Zorn is ****ing Goofy! LOL
I wonder what Zorn's doing with Flacco. Doesn't seem like he's had much positive effect -- Seems like Flacco is underperforming, given he has Boldin, Stallworth and Mason..
