Jets being investigated for harassment of female Mexican reporter
NFL Investigating Alleged New York Jets Harassment of Reporter Ines Sainz -- NFL FanHouse
The NFL is looking into whether New York Jets players harassed Ines Sainz, a female reporter from a Mexican television network, during a practice on Saturday. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said on Sunday that the league was aware of the reports that the TV Azteca reporter may have been singled out by Jets players and possibly coach Rex Ryan. The New York Post reported that Sainz received catcalls in the locker room and when another reporter asked if she was OK, lineman Kris Jenkins said, "This is our locker room!" "The Jets and our office began looking into it as soon as we learned of it last night," Aiello said in an e-mail. "That process is ongoing." Before the alleged locker room incident, the Post also reported that Ryan had his defensive backs intentionally run drills so they could "accidentally" run into Sainz. Re: Jets being investigated for harassment of female Mexican reporter
She's hot and their grown men in their 20's, no big news Imo unless they harmed her in a sexual way.
|
Re: Jets being investigated for harassment of female Mexican reporter
I say throwing balls in her direction as a coach.. sending guys in drills close to her, etc is a bit over the line
|
Re: Jets being investigated for harassment of female Mexican reporter
In case people are wondering what she looks like...

On twitter she said she died of discomfort, but that she'd like to return to the locker room at a later time during the season. There was too much "masculine hormones" in the room. Women comprise approximately 10% of the sports journalism work force in a male-dominated field. Do you have a personal opinion about women reporters who [especially in the game of football] get too close to players locker rooms? |

DB coach running the "run into her" drill is a former DALLAS COWBOY.

Re: Jets being investigated for harassment of female Mexican reporter
It's like what Dave Chappelle said if you dress like a hooker I'm going to think your a hooker. I understand she's doing her job, but if you think she didn't wear tight pants a top to make sure she got those interviews your F ing crazy. There guys they are going to hit on her are male reporters allowed to go into womens locker rooms.
|
Re: Jets being investigated for harassment of female Mexican reporter
I believe it was other reporters who were bothered by what was happening/being said to Ines, rather than Ms. Sainz herself.
But what's with all this she's dressed like a hooker nonsense. Jeans and a t-shirt. |
Re: Jets being investigated for harassment of female Mexican reporter
And if Erin Andrews didn't want to be stalked she shouldn't look so hot ...
C'mon. You want to joke amongst yourselfve - fine. If she's out on the beach checking out guys - fine. Yup. She's f'ing hot. Probably got the job b/c of it. BUT - She's got a job to do - and acting like a bunch of hormonal high school boys & harrasing an attractive woman trying to do her job is simply wrong. Her's the pic of what she was allegedly wearing. Not like she showed up in g-string and pasties: Ines Sainz: Hottie Reporter Allegedly Harrassed at New York Jets Practice | Bleacher Report A quote from the article:
The Post is also reporting that once All-Pro defensive lineman Jason Taylor and head coach Rex Ryan figured out what was going on, they also joined in the passing drill, intentionally overthrowing receivers in order to have the balls land near Sainz. Sainz said that she was “bombarded with catcalls and boorish antics” at the Jets' facility.
Ines Sainz: Hottie Reporter Allegedly Harrassed at New York Jets Practice | Bleacher Report Nice. And, yes, a significant part of my indignation comes from my Rex Ryan hate. You think Dungy, Gibbs, Shanahan would've "joined in?" You think they would have tolerated it? I don't. |

If men are going out of their way to be jerks, that's one thing...but this is one of those cases where a women knowlingly dressed provocatively to tease men, then cries and gets mad when she gets the attention. "Stop staring at me!" Then don't wear something that catches the eye. I am not a fan of the Jets this year, but they were just being normal guys and she seems to be TRYING to instigate a problem. The same thing may have happened at any other team's practice...except maybe ours because Shanny is a slave-driver at practice. She wasn't trying to do her job, she was trying to get rich men to notice her backside. Then...she wore it into a room where men undress...yeah, she had no idea that would happen. Look at that slideshow, she's an attention whore. Notice the word attention before I get accused of calling her the word after. |

Re: Jets being investigated for harassment of female Mexican reporter
Wow. Just wow.
You're right. She should have worn a burka. Damn right, anytime an attractive woman doesn't cover up her assets, she is just an attention slut. Really, how dare an attractive female TV reporter wear tight jeans and a blouse - b**** was f'ing asking for it. They should have just gang banged her on the field 'cause you know she wanted it. |

Don't take me wrong, I'm nor defending Ryan's lack of class...but she should have known dressing like that when going to a locker room...good chance she's getting attention and not necessarily welcomed attention. Really seems like the motive for wearing a shirt like this: |

:laughing2 OK...I'm wrong...the players should have put down their handkerchiefs so she didn't have to get her shoes dirty. You seriously don't think she seeks attention from men? Look at the slideshow again.
What do you expect her to wear? She's an attractive lady who was probably going to garner attention regardless. Female reporters from Mexico and the NFL seem to be developing an odd relationship. Anyone remember this?
