Which Redskin is Most Likely to Have a Breakout Season in 2010?
 

With all the new hires that have come to D.C. I'm pretty excited about this upcoming year. I wanted to get everyone's opinion on who they think will have a breakout season in 2010? I going with Devin Thomas i think he will shine in 2010.

I agree with DT #11 having a great year however I think Fred Davis is going to have over 8 TD's

Even though Orakpo had a fantastic rookie season, if we move to the 3-4 then he will be THE BEAST in the NFC!

I think there will be a couple, if we don't go QB at #4 then JC will along with DT, FD, MK & MM i think under new coaching our WR's will start to shine.

M.Kelly, I just think Zorn was so much over his head in all aspects, that he did not give any of the talent that we have their best chance to shine.

I say Malcom becuase of his upside.

Oh, I also think Marko Mitchell is going to become Washingtons version of Brandon Marshall. Warpaint was right Zorn was in way over his head and I think part of that problem was some aversion to playing the young receivers on our team. Especially after Mitchell showed so much promise in camp and preseason.

Thomas and Kelly will break out! With smart moves acquiring young oline talent the offense could easily break out as a unit.

Really hard to say on defense. I'd like to see Barnes breakout because it would shore up the secondary, but really we don't know much about how he'll perform at this level. Chris Wilson could shore up the LB corp and it seems some of the gurus really seem to be impressed w/ what he's done so far.

Devin Thomas, without a doubt. Davis will probaboly take a back seat to Cooley again. I really hope this coaching staff finds a way to effectivley use the two of them...but Devin Thomas I think was starting to break out this year, hopefully he can keep it going...

I'd be happy if just one of these guys had a break out year. I suspect they will try to get the ball more often to Devin Thomas because of his speed and ability to get open. After seeing this year, I no longer question Thomas' ability. I just question whether he can stay healthy.

dangit buster, moore was going to be my super sleeper pick. he hits like a ton of bricks but i would need to see more of him on the field before i coud make an opinion about his cover skills but . . . i really think he could step up this year and battle out horton (i like doughty too, shoot i like all our safeties).

I would love for Kareem Moore to have a breakout season. That would be a big step up for our defense.

If a couple of our lineman step up this it would allow other players to step up.
Imagine if Rhinehart could play RT in a ZBS and Edwin Williams could play RG?
Then when we plug our 1st round rookie LT we should be good to hook.

Chris Cooley has alot of motivation next year. I look for him to have a huge season as a Redskin. Here is a quote from him about fans wanting him to be traded:
