Thank you Bengals.
According to my calculations the Broncos now have a 241.1 average after that game. That average falls behind the Washington Average of 234.2
My Denver number may be a bit off, not sure if they count negative yards or not. Either way, we have the #1 defense in the league. LETS GO SKINS! We've also only allowed 19 out of 81 ATTEMPTED 3rd down conversions. That's HUGE!! |
johnson and johnson ran all over them... man, champ looked stupid bad that game, they just kept throwing it his way and chad won every time (minus the horrible rushed palmer pass to champ...)
thanks chad, for making sure i didn't miss champ... RD only had 110 rushing this week against a team that gives up an average of 160 a game... ouch. |
agreed, champ looked pretty average tonight. Palmer was not afraid to throw it at him at all. Johnson ended up with around 150yds and a TD.
|
Can't wait til sunday to see if we can shut down the packers, after what they did to the cowboys. We need to score more than 20 to have a chance.
|
Best offense we've faced so far, by a pretty long way. A big test.
It would really be a good week to get the dang offense on track!!! |
giants have a pretty nice offense too
|
giants offense is nothing compared to the Packers. Not even close. I charge you with one demerit point for even suggesting it. Shameful...just shameful.

Green Bay is No.2 behind Minnesota and the NYG are ranked 9th.....so I guess you're somewhat right.. |
while our defense hasnt been this tested before, hopefully we'll have three starters back in to make a difference. although at this point i'd want to leave Pierce in instead of Barrow. he must be ultra rusty.
|
How about Chump....uhhh...I mean Champ??? 150+ yards and a TD for Chad Johnson. They threw right at him.....I wonder if that had anything to do with the fact that Lewis was a former coach of his??? Hmmm...
|
We are #1 right now. You were off by 3 yards in your average though, daseal. Drop and give me 20.

Did you hear his postgame pressconference.... if you havent, you will. |
Champ got picked on pretty good but that's life as a CB. Chad Johnson was up to the task.
Still doesn't change the fact he's one of the league's best. |

what happened? |
what happened?
Champ said that he doesn't give a f**k what happened and he still feels like he's the best point blank. He then said to watch out next week..... |

What does the "L" stand for (the last column)? |
i'm suprised champ didn't turn into ashes during last nights game, as bad as he got burnt. chad johnson got SHUT DOWN by the browns, but mr. "shutdown" corner got burnt to a crisp.

that quote would have been perfect if the Bronco's had a bye week! :FIREdevil |

Good question. Anybody? |
What does the "L" stand for (the last column)?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the previous column TF is Total Fumbles, and the L is how many were Lost (by the offense). So according to this, the Skins D has forced 8 fumbles, and has recovered 3 of them. |

they really should have a key for that info... they showed chad johnson talking about champ on the pregame... actually watching tape on him and commenting on what he saw... really came off as being pretty smart and understanding what he needed to do (champ can be suckered in by heading outside and then cutting back in... he said something like faking routes and not having the QB telegraph the play is the best way to beat him (since champ watches the triangle between him, the WR, and the QB to position himself best))...
anyways, champ showed real maturity in that press conference ;) he was talking to johnson after the game and it seemed friendly enough... we get to play the 3 best offenses this year (imho): 1. Vikes 2. Favre 3. Iggles so we'll definately get to see how good our D really is... |
Yikes....we play Mr. Football aka Favre...he has a SOLID offensive line and Pack have a good runningback in Green too. Their defense is suspect....although Dallas couldn't exploit it...but we have a better running game than little "d"..... If this turns into a game where we have to score a lot of points the Redskins are in trouble........our hope is to kill time on the clock with our running game and keep Favre OFF the field.......
|
favre isn't always consistant, but he's always capable of putting up 40 points at crunch time :( definately a scary guy to have to play... he lead blocks for runners too!! how many other QBs do that???
