Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
Thumbs up: Rock Cartwright for stepping up, The defense for holding the Cowboys to 7 points.
Thumbs down: Zorn for settling for a FG before half. Suisham for blowing the FG. The O-Line for blowing on a weekly basis. Injuries. :( |
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
Thumbs up: 1. The defense is pretty good again. 2. Rock
Thumbs down:1. Suisham is a loser. 2.Entire offense and coaching. |

Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
If suisham makes either of those two misses, we win. Suisham is a joke.

Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
Our D is so Good, but yet no one talks about it around the league!! If we had a LINE and a better QB this team would win 11 games atleast!
But today wasn't JC's fault it was S.S |

No doubt I agree, Rocky had a TD on that Dropped INT, but we did force 2 To's and still couldnt score. And Kudos to LL for playing a very good game and to DHALL as well, lets give props when they do good as we dog them when they play bad. |
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
Thumbs ups:
- Defense, as always.. Even without Haynesworth in the lineup.. I'm pretty surprised how Smoot played well today.. Also I'm sort of disappointed that Blache didn't try to take advantage of Dallas' new RT, Free; should have tried to abuse him with Orakpo or blitz more on his side.. - The 3 young receivers making clutch plays - Rock Cartwright, I believe he proved us all wrong for wanting him out of the Redskins uniform.. - O-line, although they didn't play that great but due to the circumstances; Rinehart out, rookie Edwin Williams filled in.. And Dallas's front 7 are pretty good.. - Campbell played really well in the game.. He hung in to make the throws, while acknowledging that he will absorb hits.. The last pass, it was just freak.. It happens to every QB sometimes.. Thumbs downs: - Suisham, he missed two FGs.. Many of you guys think Suisham is joke, before this game, he had made significant improvement; he made all FGs (12-12) but then this game, I don't know what happened.. First FG is sort of understable, he was pretty much iced for more than 6 minutes due to referees' mistakes.. - I pretty much can't think of anything else that was bad in the game; we won the game.. But unfortunately, the scoreboard says otherwise so.. |

Speaking of Landry, doesn't he somewhat looks bigger today in the game?? And god, he really needs to learn how to control his emotions and stuff.. He always celebrates, every time he makes or supposedly was the one who tackles.. |
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
I agree Grid, we won this damn game.. I still think we could win 6 games this yr, but it really don't matter anyway.
|
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
Oh yeah, one other thumbs up... Devin Thomas. On kickoffs, and as a WR is he starting to get it?
|
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
Thumbs up: For a defense that has played well enough for the team to be a playoff contender in just about every game thus far.
Thumbs down: For an offense that continues to struggle scoring points, last weeks game was an exception not the rule. It has to be tough for a defense having to play behind an offense that's so lethargic. |

DT is playing like he has something to prove....which I guess he does, but he's doing it. |
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
Agree with ...all of you . Now I can rest as I have trained you all well :)
|
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
Thumbs up: Rock Cartwright is a pretty good all around player. I've always thought he'd be pretty good behind an ok line. I even thought he's Betts equal, if not a little better. Great game.
Defense played a great game. Down: Suisham. I still can't figure out how we lost this one. What the hell? |
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down

Yeah, he's looking good. With Rock probably the "feature" back now, Thomas most likely becomes the primary KR. He looks good doing it, too. He has good speed and runs hard. He's a threat to score at KR, which really isn't something the Skins have had since Ladell Betts manned the position. His goal this week in practice should be to show ARE how to break arm tackles. |
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
Thumbs Up: Almost forgot. I think JC. He seemed to make alot of plays. However we only scored 6 pts. I'm confused.
|
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
Thumbs up for playing without:
Samuels Thomas Rinehart (most of the game) Portis Betts Haynesworth Horton Cooley And still almost beating the Cowboys in their home, Suisham makes those 2 field goals and we win. I like what I'm seeing for next year, the less the stars are on the field the better this team plays, coincidence? |

Don't be. That's JC. |
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
2 Thumbs down = Suisham. MAKE 1 of 2 and we win.
Thumbs up = the DEFENSE, yeah Rocky dropped a int that could have been a td but for 3 1/2 qtrs they held the girls in check. We should have won. but i do feel good about the offense going forward. DT,MK and FD are starting to show up. |
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
Thumbs up: Jerry Jones & Dan Snyder have the best performing teams on the financial spreadsheet.
Thumbs Down: Their teams do not perform on the field. Where it matters most. That was some painfully bad football to watch today. That was like watching women's basketball. |

Oh please. The guy makes 14 of 16 this year and now he's a joke? I've said in another thread (and it looks like I'll be saying it a lot more), but when you have to depend on your kicker to win games, it's the team that's truly the joke.
2 Thumbs down = Suisham. MAKE 1 of 2 and we win.
Bullsh*t. How about the offense getting the ball in the goddamn endzone. Make a touchdown and we win. How about that? |

Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
thumbs up rock looked real good, d played well
thumbs down play calling as a whole, espesically right before halftime, orakpo didn't get a sack(not saying he didn't have a good game just wish he got a sack) |

I didn't see that, but at least our coverage was mostly solid other than the single drive where they were passing it all over us. |

I don't think that we've seen enough of him before to be able to say that he didn't "have it" before. They're just utilizing him properly now. Nobody ever mentioned bad hands or goes down easy, the only thing really was some minor rumblings about not completely familiar with playbook. Same thing said for Davis... okay, so you give it to them on what they DO know.. and it's done pretty well for us. |

Amen, for JC to not try to get a touchdown is just bush league...screw double coverage just laser it in there and win!

I'm thinking that maybe, at the beginning of the game, Dallas were running down into middle.. Blache probably then had the guys to focus onto middle ground, but I don't know if that's the significant reason why we didn't take the advantage though.. |

Jason Campbell- getting hit a ton facing constant pressure and limited mainly to 3 step drops he moved the ball Rock Cartwright -i've always thought Rock deserved more chances Devin Thomas- always fighting for yards, did a good job on KR (can we please make an effort to get him the ball!?) Landry-Shook off 2 bad games and was laying the wood out there Doughty-tough hard nosed reliable, picking up where Horton left off Carter/Orakpo-making plays all day without hanyseworth Rogers-didn't get beat on a double move Kelly-nice catch and run Vinnie/Synder-not addressing the OL Zorn/Sherman Lewis-Relying on JC to move the ball up and down the field then not taking chances with him.... playcalling/ decisions.....grow some balls take a shot, throw the ball into the endzone!! at least once! Soft coverage on the Cowboys last drive Heyer's early game false starts Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades: Fletcher's dropped pick Rocky's dropped pick Hall fumble recovery Fletcher int return DeAngelo's coverage on the last drive Orakpo almost sack on Romo Fletcher's almost good enough coverage on Crayton |

Yeah, they did run effectively, but there were some pretty obvious passing downs as well I thought. |
Re: Thumbs Up Thumbs Down
forgot to give a thumbs up to smoot, that may be one of his best games in the past two years
