Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I look forward to the match up. I want to see if the Skins at home can get back on track and get the job done vs. the 0-3 bucs.
I sure hope/and expect to see an improved effort in all three phases of the game (I hope to see a fired up, mad, we are gonna kick your ass attitude). The buc stops here IMO, I consider this a must win, even at week 4. Yesterday is over next week is coming, how is the mental state of this team and coaching staff. Do they have the heart and will power to pull through and peel off one win at a time and get on track. Your thoughts on this up coming week against the bucs? |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I think our mental state is awful, we're deflated, uninspired, and just don't seem to care that much.
Also, there are going to be thousands of boo birds out. Wonder how the team will respond to that? We appear to be an extremely fragile team, both on the field and in the locker room. I don't think we've got the coaching staff to hold us together, and I don't think we have an O-line that can take us anywhere anyway. All that said, I think we'll beat the Bucs by a narrow margin in typical ugly fashion. I swear on my life no one better come around here predicting we score in the 30's this week. We're a bad team, but the Bucs are worse. |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
We stomp them in the ground as the players are pissed and want to take it out on someone. I might even go to the game as tickets are selling bellow price.
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
Skins - 13
Bucs - 10 |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
Forecast calls for loss with possible chance for intermitent heavy boos. There is flood watch during 3-4pm as FedEx may be flooded with heavy booing.

Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
The Skins did poor against the run last week and the Buc's have 2 backs that can get it done on the ground. I am not sure how their passing game is going to look, but the Skins haven't been able to stop the pass much either. This is going to be a close game and if the Buc's can stay away from being 1 dimensional on offense then they have a good chance of winning.

I'm going with this as well. Anything else is too unpleasant to contemplate. |

Your sig is hilarious. |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
We'll probaboly win like 17-13 or some crap like that. We're bad, but Tampa is worse.
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
The Lions were supposed to be worse than we are, but we still lost to them.. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see us lose this one.. But I'm hoping we won't, especially not at home.

What's funny is that you know for a fact we're going to struggle on offense this Sunday. And what's going to happen when struggle...audible booing from the entire stadium. It's going to be interesting to see how loud the boos get this season...really...there's 7 games yet to be played at FedEx and what do you think of our chances in those games being that we lost to Detroit? |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I don't think the players being pissed are going to help us protect the quarterback, but god, that defense for Tampa has been embarrassing this year.
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I'm hoping for a quick start, could get ugly if we give up a score first.
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
The skins will win.... unless the Bucs go into Max Protect. According to Blanche you cant do anything to defeat the max protect. What the hell happened to the Cobra package?
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I have no confidence in this team and if they lose to the Bucs Zorn will be fire, that much is certain.
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
the bucs always seem to be like seattle and be a thorn in our side.
i saw we lose this game but its a high scorer 24-27 jc plays great, zorn runs left at the 1 again and gets stuffed |

Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
Skins 31
Bucs 10 We finally score some points, corner isn't turned, but we can see the corner a little bit. Like, we're looking at it, and there's a lot of stuff in the way, and like we think we'll get around it, but in reality there's no possible way to... kind of like a so close yet so far deal, i dont know, maybe we're confusing the corner as a dead end. thats probably more likely. we see the dead end, and we're confused, and a little tired and hungry... so we're trying to get to the end, and eat. |

Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I predict 29 points...
No, but seriously, our defense can't get off the field, so I think we win 19-13. |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
If they don't play with some intensity and cohesion this week, they never will this season. My prediction is we will still see some sloppy/mediocre football (I know I'm going out on a limb) but the skins will win.
Skins 20 (Offensive explosion) Bucs 17 |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
17-14 either way
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I think Jansen sold us out ;), TB doesn't have him, 35-7 Skins
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I refuse to predict on the grounds it might incriminate me.
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I predict that Jason Campbell will have a great game, the Redskins will have a close win or loss, and people will want him benched.
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
The Skins either Blow Tampa Bay out or fall to hell I wont even make a prediction on the score
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
skins loose and hanyesworth laughs all the way to the bank, dreaming about a sweet retirement after football, thanks danny d bag

Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
Amazing what 1 day can do. Wow. I thought only love was blind, someone forgot about faith.
Bucs: 24- Three TD's and a field goal. Skins: 16- One TD and three field goals. Sorry guys I gotta set the bar low since TB has been able to put 20 or more points on the board. The Skins havn't. Maybe the Skins supprise me and I'm happy but atleast I'm not let down again. |

Your snide comment is just like our offense, unoriginal and it just plain sucks. |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
We rack up 400+ total yards, with Campbell throwing 2 touchdowns and Portis running one in. Our defense gets two turnovers returning one for a touchdown. The Bucs score 1 late touchdown.
so I predict a 28 - 7 W If we cant do it in real life I might as well dream about it, right? |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
Bowout written all over ths one......
Redskins 10 Bucks 3 |

If fans are booing then I guess they are not happy with the product on the field. Im going be more positive and think our team will come together and play much better this week. |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
Our team has to listen to Zorn on the Hot seat all week. Our team has to listen to how they lost to the Lions , which broke its 19 game losing streak. This has to irritate the Hell out of the players and they can't wait to see Tampa Bay at FedEx. It should be noted Bucs starting new QB Josh Johnson, Byron Leftwich benched. I think we play better on both sides of the ball. Im expecting a Redskins victory not predicting a score or I would place a bet in Vegas.

Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I would love to see the team come out on Sunday and look like they give a shit. I hate talking about touchy feely crap like heart and passion, but right now it just seems like the team is lacking in that area for whatever reason. The team needs to grow a pair and come out and hit someone in the chops.
|
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I would love to see JC start the game in the No Huddle. It seems to be the only time in the games we can move the ball. Let JC call the plays, at least for a little while.

You and me both |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
My thoughts are summed up perfectly by Fred Armisen/Joy Behar:
"So what, who cares???" I have Redskins depression right now. The last decade hasn't been easy but I've always had false hope at least. I now find myself with no hope at all. I can't even cheer for a top 5 draft pick cuz we'll just waste it on another "Plaxico type". Unfortunately this is the team I'm stuck with and I'll follow them into the gutter, but if anyone can give me SOMETHING to look forward to this weekend it'd be much appreciated. |
Re: Moving on, how do you think the Skins perform vs. bucs
I want to see the team look unlike they're stuck in neutral and more like ready to begin establishing an identity by doing the little things well. In order for the team to look more aesthetically desirable each and every player must first hold himself accountable for what they do on the field. I want them to play well and win, so we don't have to come here on Sunday evening and all next week talking about firing somebody/anybody.
