Redskins No. 1 pick in 2010 NFL Draft

If you watch ESPN now you will see our future starter at quarterback playing the South Carolina Gamecocks and his name is Jevan Snead.

Sweet; I'll just tune in at the start of round 2.

Why would we need Snead when our current QB is going to be a perennial Pro Bowler?

Sneads first half stats just make me salivate of the chance to land him. 3-8 for 30 yards.

That is like a sweet little cherry on top...lol

Snead's decent, he's no John Skelton (or even Zac Robinson), but he's a'ight.

Still....total thread fail. We already have a "way too soon" 2010 draft thread (and at least that one is in the right forum)

Should probably lock this bad boy

Don't lock it. I wanna keep this amazing thread open because of the great game Snead is having.

Im a Max Hall believer

I sure hope we go 1-15 so we can get that guy!

It's either Colt McCoy or bust.

Another surefire NFL bust.

Snead with less than 100 yards passing and a 31.6% completion rate right now. Awesome stuff. Makes this thread even more of a fail.

And if your read this thread, you will see an example of not asking yourself the questions:

Does this make any sense?

Is this thread really necessary?

And you will also see a textbook useless thread.

Maybe we can package portis, moss, cooley and samuels in order to move up and take him.

Re: Redskins No. 1 pick in 2010 NFL Draft

I don't know about a first round pick. If he doesn't start playing better we could probably pick him up as an UDFA.

Re: Redskins No. 1 pick in 2010 NFL Draft

Maybe he should have said Eric Norwood

But seriously guys...big win for South Carolina...I think maybe we should talk to their head coach and see if he'd like to take over this team....

Great! Then he can install the spread offense and bring in lots of former South Carolina players. It's a can't miss!

Funny how SC brought in Spurrier for offense, and every year since he's been there the offense has stunk out loud for the most part. Ironically, the only reason SC has even been a mediocre team during the Spurrier era is a very solid defense.

Jevan Snead - 7/21, 107 yards. Ick. He's been flat out bad in two of the three games Ole Miss has played this season. Reading his own preseason press clippings perhaps?

Re: Redskins No. 1 pick in 2010 NFL Draft

As long as this organization can try to develop undersized passers from the Big 12, how about Todd Reesing?

I think Colt McCoy is the best player in the draft anyway.

Atleast when I make threads they make somewhat sinse.. This guy is nuts to think Snead is good..

Tripp, can we really have two Colt's on this team? Won't that be confusing??

Seriously though. John F'ing Skelton!!!! The best QB you've never heard of

Wasn't John Skelton a Renaissance guy of some significance like 500 years ago?

Wow, he's gonna be the most awesomest bestest QB in the history of all time. I hope we trade all of our draft picks to get him.

Yup, a fine British poet.

They reanimated his corpse to play quarterback. Now there's a real Skelton in their closet!
