John Ensign Likes to Get Down
He has been a naughty boy...would have given him a pass if it wasn't for these little gems:
“The effort to pass a constitutional amendment reaffirming marriage as being between a man and a woman only is being undertaken strictly as a defense of marriage against the attempt to redefine it and, in the process, weaken it,” Ensign said. “Marriage is an extremely important institution in this country and protecting it is, in my mind, worth the extraordinary step of amending our constitution.”

"There's too many people that paint with a broad brush that we're all corrupt, we're all amoral. … And having these kinds of things happen, whether it's a Republican or Democratic senator — we certainly have had plenty of Democratic scandals in the past — we need people who are in office who will hold themselves to a little higher standard."

“I came to that conclusion recently, and frankly it’s because of what he put his whole Cabinet through and what he has put the country through,” Ensign said Thursday, becoming the first member of the Nevada delegation to call for Clinton to quit. “He has no credibility left.”
|
Re: John Ensign Likes to Get Down
A hypocritical politician with a previously undiscovered checkered past. What a shocker. Yawn. This guy is Eliot Spitzer. Except it's a Republican this time. Stop traffic.
I wonder if he'll pull a Blago and try to start a radio show about it. |
Re: John Ensign Likes to Get Down
I don't get why we all care so much about these types of things anymore? I mean a guy cheating on his wife...shocker!!
|
Re: John Ensign Likes to Get Down
The reason this story is somewhat interesting is that Ensign is a Republican whose name has recently been mentioned as a 2012 possibility for president. There have been some who looked at him as a standard bearer for conservatism.
So much for that. This is just another example of how the National Republican Party is a complete dumpster fire right now. |
Re: John Ensign Likes to Get Down
I cannot lay judgement without a picture of the lady he had the affair. A pic of his wife would also be helpful in making the dicision.

Re: John Ensign Likes to Get Down
I hadn't heard this guy mentioned as a 2012 posibility until the scandal broke. He's a minor character. Men like strange. Some just dream about it and some find themselves in a position to act on it. Obviously it discredits him but it's not a huge deal anymore, is it?
Also, the quotes you put up hardly go directly to the point. I mean, he didn't say "Anyone who commits adultery should be shot." If he had screwed a dude, I suppose his opposition to homosexual marriage would be more relevant. If Barney Frank cheats on his boyfriend, you know, the one who works at Fannie Mae, would that make his position on the issue less valid? |

This logic clearly went right past you, it seems this is a recurring theme with you so it's no biggie. I hear Rudy and Newt are also preaching about sanctity too. There's nothing sanctimonious about marriage...just something to do. |

I suppose it's a huge deal now, no?. Sex, power, money....drugs TBD.

Re: John Ensign Likes to Get Down
Why does this thread not surprise me, and by whom.?.? Ye should not cast any stones. Your party (the jackassacrats) is doing a fine job of killing any kind of economic growth.

You know we're all rooting for killing jobs, hopefully yours is among the first that gets killed. Of course in the event that you're self-employed we sincerely hope your business runs into the ground and thus eventually force you to line up for welfare and realize our Government Dependent Plan (GDP).
Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated. -Obama
|
Re: John Ensign Likes to Get Down
Apparently Pres. Obama would like to get down too....

I know those comments were not aimed at me but I'd be fine not having Goverment Unemployment if I could keep my SS money as I would not need it any longer. The bad economy has actually helped my business over the past 4 months. The reason is that I had two other ins. agencies who had second locations near my office and they have decided to reduce their over head by closing those locations down. I have seen a pretty good jump in business and when their adds drope from yellow pages it should provide another jump in business. |
LOL. I got a huge kick out of this. Some of the headlines are hilarious: "Tail to the Cheif" "O-Gler Prez" "Second Stimulus Package" (my favorite) "A matter of International Interest" "Has Barak been taking lessons from Berlusconi?" Shocker that the All Barak Channel is the one outlet claiming the whole thing is "misleading" and Obama was "looking down to assure his footing." HA! Yeah, staring at her ass is the best way to gain a foothold. Look how Sarkozy sees it and is smirking. Even Rhambo and Gibbs can't spin this one. It should be noted that the girl he's checking out is 16 years old. Those darn Brazilian teenagers!! |

When guys are scoping out some ass, we tend to trail and follow the target ass until it's out of our line of site. If you see the video, Obama doesn't do that. The picture is way more obvious than the video. |

Agreed. But he also realizes the cameras are always rolling, so a quick glance was all he could get. In this case, even the glace didn't go unnoticed. |
Re: John Ensign Likes to Get Down
I mean.......wtf, you would think the CIC could get his hands on some mirror shades?

Turn the sound off, and watch it, still looks like he's checking her out.

CelebTV, with footage courtesy of the ABC. The task at hand for this one? Create as much deniability as possible surrounding said ass peeking incident. That's funny. |
Re: John Ensign Likes to Get Down
Truth is people are going to see what they want to see.

Re: John Ensign Likes to Get Down
To be honest it looks like he was turning around to help the lady he was walking with, not to stare down the girl in the pink. And that chick wasn't too hot either...
