all 4 still showing no respect.they said after the beating pittsburg put on the skins,dallas would win.they also said because portis is'nt likely to play as part of why the skins would lose,and that terence newman would make a huge difference tonight.

the only guy i like on cbs is james brown.he has been and will always be a great and dedicated redskins fan.the other 4 are jackasses of the highest caliber!

Everyone talks about the Pittsburgh game negatively in terms of what the Redskins can do. To me, it was a poor litmus test for the Skins. It was the game in which the payback for a long training camp came due.

But, fine, let 'em have it their way. The game is played on the field, not the CBS pregame show. May they all eat large crow.

Really until the Skins offensively show the ability to score regularly, we won't get much respect, especially against teams like Dallas that people expect to score a lot.
The Skins just need to smash the Boys tonight. Forget what the talking heads say.

I agree, we can't put points up, so why should we be the favorites?? This week we don't even have our best offensive player.

They just need to beat the Boys and do it soundly. They don't need to smash them. That is unlikely anyway since we are pretty banged up still for coming off a bye week. This game is either going to be a great solid win for the Skins or another Steeler type domination. We simply need to get the ball in the endzone tonight. I wouldn't rely on the defense to win it for us. They are not 100% either. WE need to blitz often and effectively. Maybe Landry or Rogers can actually catch an interception for a change!!!!!!

Yeah, JB is a local guy who attended high school in DC. He's going to keep it real when it comes to the Skins. He's a super nice too.

I could see why someone would pick Dallas its not like they don't have any talent. To say these guys disrespects the skins means that you believe 100% that the skins will win.

These guys call themselves pros? Terence Newman is coming back from a sports hernia operation, it took McNabb, and Kevin Curtis like 6 weeks to recover. I don't think Newman will be at 100% or play the whole game.

I really was never impressed with newman when he was healthy. I dont think he would have made a big difference either way.

I don't know why ppl get so bent out of shape whenever an analyst doesn't pick us. I mean we're not dominant whatsoever, we play down to inferior opponents, and we have still have a lot to improve. When we start blowing up opponents, then we can ask for respect. We're considered a top 10 team (sometimes a top 5) and we need to start playing like one. I think tonite we can prove that by beating the Cowboys decisively.

Well... they were exactly right. We have witnessed a complete and utter offensive collapse over last 4 games. Looking to be a very ugly ending for '08.

It's hard to criticize the guy because his play has won a buncha games for us, but if he catches the deep ball that hit him in the hands we could very well be 7-3....

You could just block the posts of one poster and that would effectively deal with all the posts about "respect." It would simultaneously save you from reading posts without proper spacing, punctuation, and capitalization. Both would improve the IQ of the site as you say. I'm going to give it a try and see if it improves my experience.
