Taylor Hit
Does anyone have video of the Taylor hit on the punt return yesterday? I was listening to the game on the radio, and I haven't been able to see the hit yet, though from what I understand it was quite a doozy.

Re: Taylor Hit
You can go to NFL.com and watch the recap. They highlight the Sellers, Landry and Taylor hits in the recap.

Re: Taylor Hit
Taylor laid, I mean laid that guy out. They showed him on the sidelines afterward...he looked lost.

I still get a big laugh out of that one. The Taylor hit was good but they didn't have a good clip of that one. The have a shot of it but its obstructed. |
Re: Taylor Hit
You can see the hit on this youtube video. Not the greatest quality. It's around the 2 minute mark
I haven't been here long enough to post the link so just go to youtube and search for Washington redskins vs. Lions 2007 season game. It was awesome to see in person. |
Re: Taylor Hit
The Sellers hit on Kennoy Kennedy was my favorite. My entire section just went insane it was great.

Due to the concussion issue and the NFLPA vs. NFL regarding veteran disability claims, they felt it was insensitive. So no more Jacked Up. I see their point, but who doesn't love a nice, clean, decleating hit? On that note, that dude got JACKED UP! |
Re: Taylor Hit
Yeah, I miss jacked up. Football is all about hitting, their aren't allowed to show the best?

Well they still show all the hits in the highlights, they just no longer have a segment dedicated to glorifying players getting blown up. Sigh. |

I love your .GIFs. Do you have a place where we can go see all of them? If not, I'll drop that in the suggestion box for the site. ;) |
Re: Taylor Hit
I picked that up from another site

Re: Taylor Hit
Something I just noticed about the block - Had Taylor not made it, his guy probably stops the play as, to juke out the punter, Thrash cuts back into the space where the blocked player would have been. Not only a good hit, the block sprung Thrash for some big big yards.

He not only does this when it matters most, but consistently. |
